It’s very drying if you have dryer skin. Very matte. If you’re looking for dewy or something more hydrating this definitely isn’t for you. I’ll probably use this in the warmer humid months when I go for my runs. After it’s used up I won’t repurchase. I’ve not been impressed with any ItCosmetics products at all.

I have been using this for about a year and really like it. I am allergic to chemical sunscreen and have to stick to mineral SPF. Since these are usually white, they leave a ghostly look even under my makeup. I have tried and used so many tinted mineral sunscreens, some worked great under my makeup but most were thick and full of dimethicone, which tends to clog my pores and irritate when used daily. I like La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 in the tinted formula but it is so hard to find, I bought the IT Anti-Aging Armour as a replacement and I really like it.
The formula is very thin in consistency but very pigmented. When I am having good skin days, I can get away with just wearing this and setting with a little powder. It works great to cover and blend any skin discoloration and wears well under makeup if I want a fuller coverage look. This can also be built up for more coverage, even if just in certain areas like when my cheeks are extra rosy due to my sensitive skin issues. I have also used a little Celebration Foundation, on top of this, to cover areas that are a little more red than the Anti-Aging Armour can handle. I haven’t experienced cakiness but also use a setting spray to set and “melt” my foundation and powder together.
I think I am on my 3rd or 4th bottle, so that says a lot for me since I usually will use up a product and move on In search of something better. I guess when it comes to tinted mineral SPF the choices are minimal and so far this and La Roche-Posey are the best on the market and I will buy ether when available.

I bought this thinking it would be a good replacement for my under-makeup SPF staple, Bare Minerals Prep Step mineral spf 50 (which was discontinued) – I was looking for a moisturizing, light, sheer, primer type product with a high mineral spf that I could wear under makeup. This should really be marketed as a tinted moisturizer, because there is a lot of pigment in this product that gives the finish of almost a medium coverage foundation. I did not mind the color (it happened to be a good match to my skin tone), but because this is marketed as a primer/moisturizer with SPF, people are going to be using it for the SPF which requires you to put more than just a dab on your face. This resulted in a really dry, aged look (at least for me). My skin is already dry and when I wore this I looked about 10 years older. Not cool.
The good things about this: simple but convenient/effective packaging, did not irritate my super sensitive skin (although there are a million ingredients), SPF 50, and probably some decent antioxidants. Other than that, it wasn’t what I was looking for.

Happy to find some at my local Ulta because this stuff is sold out online on both the Ulta and It Cosmetics websites and appears to have been sold out for a few months, I guestimate since around September 2018.
I wanted something to use under my It bye bye foundation because I mix it with oil to sheer it out and don’t want to rely on just it for sunscreen, so I thought I’d try the anti-aging armour to wear underneath.
This is really not a primer/sunscreen product because it has a lot of tint to it, so much to the point I can use it by itself as it gives a fair amount of coverage. It does everything it says: hydrates, blurrs, evens out my skin tone. It is comparable in texture to the La Roche-Posay anthelios tinted mineral sunscreen and other “drop” style sunscreens but more hydrating. When I wear this I feel no need to add any foundation over it, just concealer where I need it, so I am not sure at this time how it wears under a foundation. It Cosmetics is not very clear on this in the product description and advises in their “ask a question” section to others who ask to use the armour when one wants a sheer product and to use the bye bye or CC if one wants full coverage.
Fortunately the tint matches my skin perfectly, but it’s definitely not going to work for everyone like it says. It’s too bad because this is really a nice product and has me looking with disdain at my other sunscreens which have been sitting untouched since I brought this one home.

So. The Good: it feels great on and doesn’t ever sting. The Bad: it doesn’t even leave a white cast – more like a grey cast! I’ve never looked so unhealthy. And it’s hard to cover up, which makes the whole concept of tinted sunscreen useless.
Using it up on hands and mixing it with another tinted moisturizer but it still needs lots of bronzer over it.
Oh well.

2nd UPDATE: I have a change of heart, I find that this works best just by itself. Gives enough tint for some minimal color correction. This has become a repurchases as I now use it on the weekends, and my off days when I don’t wear makeup.
UPDATE: Just don’t like how this sits under my makeup. Causes my liquid foundation to separate by midday. Will not repurchase, going back to my Clarins sunscreen after I’m done with the bottle.
This is my summer time sunscreen. The tint is a little dark for my fair skin but works well in the summer. Applies easily with good amount of slip. Doesn’t leave any white residue like some sunscreens can. Does seem to blur minor pores and really helps even out tone due to the tint. Didn’t irritate my acne prone skin. Just wish it came untinted. In the winter I use Clarins sunscreen. If it were untinted or offered a fair tint then this would be 5 lippies.

This is very tacky and sticky sunblock, and VERY shiny. I do not like sunblock that makes me feel like I am suffocating. It does not play well with many foundations either. The best wear is when I used it alone under mineral makeup. Even then, it tended to make the mineral foundation look cakey. Overall, there are better sunblocks out there for less money.

Love it, finally found my HG sunscreen.
For years I’ve been looking for the perfect sunscreen that is tinted for my combination skin. I’ve been using Elta MD, but wasn’t thrilled with their formula and color.
I’m a more of a neutral NC25 and this matches my skin perfectly. I’m also surprised at how much coverage it has, perfect for my mature skin.

So surprised by this product. I was expecting something like Skinceuticals Physical Fusion with a light see-through tint but this is like a tinted moisturizer that offers light coverage (with 1 layer) to almost medium coverage with more layers.
Color, if you’re comparing it to IT colors is more like the Light color in the BB cream. I’m NC 20 and I can wear this color easily.
I barely need much concealer with this sunscreen, and it offers physical SPF 50.
Lasts all day on combo skin, not drying my cheeks and only making my oily chin oil up later in the day.
No scent. Does not bother my rosacea.
I’ve had no oxidation.
Only 1.2 ounces but it’s more like a foundation. It’s very liquid-y and you have to shake it very well before pouring out of the pour spout.
One con is the white container: tends to stain tan with the color of the product.
I love this stuff. Too bad it wasn’t available all summer.

This is a sunscreen with a slight tint. Feels Korean like, is made in Korea $38 for 30ml. As NC25, this made me look dull, the tint is very brown based and I feel that if it were peachier and slightly more yellow, it would have wider appeal. At the current tint, this oxidized half a shade and made me look, well, poopy. The texture is nice, slightly thicker than other liquid sunscreens but I cannot wear this under makeup since it darkens what I put on top about a shade. At the same intensity, I would say give it a shot if you are NC/W>35 at the least. The price is also high and if you like Korean stuff, I love the Innisfree Triple Care UV at the same SPF, its untinted and very versatile at approx $14.
