I am not as excited by this product as other users. Although this doesn’t break or dry me out, irritate my sensitive skin, and cleans just fine, I find it a singularly inelegant product and wonder about the general quality of some of the ingredients. It smells like Creamsicles or a cheap car deodorizer, and it lather up like crazy because of sodium lauryl sulfate–the same thing they put in cheap drugstore shampoos. The smell, especially, is revolting.

I’ve been using the Bioglycolic Oily Skin Cleansing Gel and this was recommended to me and I actually like it better. Being very oily, it’s tough to move away from products that don’t say “Oily-skin” but this really is good. It doesn’t strip your skin and make you feel tight at all. It’s actually refreshing and nice. I find that I reach for this now more that the oily-skin gel – especially in the winter months. This may change in the warmer season. We’ll see. I hate the tube, though. The first one I received was faulty and the lid broke off. Now I just use a little bottle I bought at Target that I refill! Anyway, all Jan Marnin products are awesome. I love everything I’ve tried.

This cleanser, in combination with the transformation cream, has made an incredible difference in my dry, patchy, slightly oily skin in just under a week. Its an incredible combination. My skin feels incredibly soft, and “thicker” in a good way, if that makes any sense. Some little bumps are disappearing, and the tone is evening out. I just wanted to put this out there to help anybody who might be struggling with searching for good products the way I used to. See one of her specialists and give her products a shot, they really are incredible. Good luck!
