Bought these for my Tween daughter to experiment with leg waxing (a leg wax here is 20 – 25 plus tip) but the strips are so small. Meant for face – maybe bikini or underarm but if you have coarse hair this won’t cut it.
Cheap and easy to use and relatively benign.
Comes with a teeny bottle of Azulene oil which our family dog promptly ate. Yuck.
Good in a pinch but no HG.

This product is much cheaper then getting a wax done professionally. I must admit, I mostly bought these to do my bikini area because I find it uncomfortable for anyone else to do it. I’ve kinda had a hit or miss experience with this. At times it would work and others it wouldn’t. It was my first time waxing and I do have very thick black hair but i’m kind of disappointed. I had to tweeze out way too many hairs. I have however figured out a few tips to make this work the best. I lit a candle and heated the strips from a distance and then placed on my which helped a lot in pulling out the hair. Don’t heat too much or you might melt the plastic or it might be too hot to place on you’re skin. Make sure it is bearable temperature before placing it down there because the skin is much sensitive. Also, I recommend baby powder before you use them because it won’t grip the skin as much. It definitely is a great product for thinner hair but over time you get used to the pain. I think I will buy this product again if I run out but I would also like to give Veet waxing strips a try too! Hope this helped!

As far as the actual product goes, I was pretty pleased. I found that not all the hair was removed, maybe this has something to do with the direction of hair or whatever because I was getting kind of confused. Probably the part that was most disappointing however, was the packaging. It said that it came with 6 large strips and 24 x-large strips, instead there were 6 x-large strips and 24 large strips. I’m not sure if this was a packaging problem, somebody stole them, I don’t know. Did anyone else have this issue?1

I wish I had checked out the reviews for this product sooner. I was ready to write a nasty review and toss the box after several failed attempts. Thank you to viv85e for posting the excellent tips. This time I had greater success waxing my upper lip. It’s not as perfect as I would get at a salon but I don’t look furry anymore.

The only thing this product is good for is my eyebrows, but that’s all I really use it for. I have thick eyebrows, so I don’t have to warm the strips too much before I use them. The price could be lower. The box sucks, it collapses right away and my strips get scattered everywhere. I’ll probably keep buying these until I find another brand.

So glad I came here to read reviews before buying. THE BEST TIP is to use a blow dryer to warm up the wax strips. I have thick eyebrows so tweezing just became too much of a chore. Also going to the salon gets costly and takes up too much of my time. These strips removed every last hair and gave me that smooth, waxed, finished look. I cut the smallest square in half (yields 4 narrow strips) and used that to wax the top/bottom of each eyebrow plus I reused one for between my brows. 1st try and I am very happy. These strips should go a long way if you’re only using them for upper lip and brows.
Tips:
–Cut the strips down to size. For eyebrows and lips most of those squares are too big/bulky.
–I cleaned the area w/witch hazel first, let it dry, and then applied some baby powder.
–Apply the strip directly to the area as directions say.
–Once on the skin I warmed it w/a blow dryer for a few seconds
I used these mainly to remove the gazillion hairs (both thin and thick) above and below my brows. I did some shaping using the wax strips on the top of my brows (easy) but will finish up w/tweezers for the bottom part of my brows. These strips are convenient, easy, and there is no mess.

Still using these. I don’t think they get the root out of every hair, as I’ll have some small hairs grow back faster than others (2 weeks). But I still prefer the convenience, cost and control of these strips to a salon visit. One note —- to get better results I place the unopened strip over my eyebrow and use a white “eyeliner” pencil to trace along the natural line of the brow. From there it is easy to cut the shape and wax.

These are great! I started using these after getting a wicked chemical burn from that terrible hair remover cream on my upper lip. It was horrible, and removed no hair at all, and let my face burnt red and white for 2 weeks. After trying many products, I found these, and OMG am I glad! Yes, it’s kinda scary to rip it off, and yes it hurts, but it’s WAYYYYYYY worth it. It literally takes less than 30 seconds, no joke. Just warm up, wax on, wax off. I’ve used these for just over a year, and hair grows back much less visible each time. For me, the results last about 3 weeks, so the 30 seconds of pain is nothing. These are so totally worth it! Must buy!

i been using these strips for 10 years! im surprised they still make them. I remember when i first started using them how scared i was to rip it off but now that im older i still get that ahhh feeling but if u dont think about it and do it fast enough you will have great results other wise have someone else rip it off you. i only use this for my upper lip and my mom and aunt are addicted to these as well its because of my aunt that i know of these strips and thank god cuz i cant stand those little white peach fuzz hairs when the sun hits your face just right its embarassing. I started to warm them up with a blowdryer and it seems to make a hugeee difference than i stick it on my upper lip press for a minute let it stay for a min to really stick than i rip it off like bandaid! i always have good results with these after the first rip but sometimes if i have it ill go over it again either with the same strip or a new one there $5 a box and you get so many strips that you can cut smaller and last forever i buy a box once a year and i def wouldnt kno what i would do without this product. the aloe that comes with it helps a lot too for the redness and stickiness. Go buy a box and try them if not than return them but i bet after a few trys youll never wanna be without them 🙂

i got this to remove the dark hairs around my mouth, between and around my brows. it worked perfectly around the brows (note i was NOT trying to shape them, just clean up spare hairs around them) and pretty well on one side of my lip. then disaster struck. it tore off a big section of skin off just above my upper lip. not fun. it’s about the size of a quarter and it’s all scabbed up. maybe i just have sensitive skin, but be very careful with these strips, especially where skin is thinner and delicate. i would not suggest trying to shape brows with this because they are rectangular in shape, but the wax melts easily in my hand. i find the oil does a great job removing excess wax but does nothing with the stringing or redness. for that i put a soft ice pack on for ten minutes, removing it every few minutes so i don’t freeze my lips off!

I bought this to do my eyebrows and since these come in square and rectangle shapes it’s very hard to do brows. This wax barely removed ANY hair from my brows at all. It’s also hard to get the sticky wax off your skin after you’re finished getting no results at all, even with the included “oil”.. would not buy again. This product is very weak.
