I impulse bought this after reading a review of fiftyshadesofsnail blog. Generally I exhaustively research a product before I buy. Something about this was so appealing, then i got it and at first I was sort of underwhelmed. But I kept using it as it wasn’t causing any bad reactions and then started using it in the am too. I was looking for something to hydrate under my sunscreen, before makeup, that also would be good to mix my vitamin C powder from the ordinary in giving me just a three step am routine with a gentle cleanser. This powder plays well with almost anything, but I loved how the two of them played together and it was just the right amount of hydration for the am. So I’m about halfway through my first bottle and 45 days in and I started to notice my redness is lessened and I look really even. As I have gotten rid of my hormonal acne and scars and have my dryness pretty well controlled this was the one thing I was actively searching for a product to help with, and I think the licorice root and other anti inflammatory ingredients in this may be responsible as I haven’t changed anything else in 8-10 months. I already bought a backup, carried online at ulta.com and amazon, but ulta is almost half the price.

I got this during my trip to Korea in 2014. The SA in the Clio shop was pushing for this ,claiming it has hydrating properties and makes makeup last longer, since she also threw in a free full size sleeping mask, I decided to try.
After getting this, actually I was not sure how to use it as I have left the product in my cabinet for quite some time. It is to be used after toner and before moisturizer. Honestly, any product name with ” oil” turns me off as I have combi skin. This essence does its job and it does not feel oily on my skin and my makeup does last a bit longer.
I read that the product has also gone through some revamp and Im not sure if the new version works like the old one I have. ( the one I have is not the green bottle but the white one). Would recommend a try as its not to expensive.
