Why, oh why did TBS discontinue this product?? It was my holy grail and made my
tired, dull complexion radiate health and light. Who wouldn’t want that?
It is peachy tinted and has (or should that be had?) a paste like texture, which rubbed
in well and instantly brightens the skin of the face. I can still find it online from various sellers so have
stocked up as if my life depended on it (joke!)
Every single time I fall in love with a product it is discontinued – I swear I am jinxed…..

It is a slightly scented dark orange color cream that is supposed to make dull/tired skin look glowy and healthy. I bought it spontaneously on a 50% sale in the Body Shop store and have been trying it out for about a month.
Even though it is orange, it does not give any tint to my light-to-medium tone skin. Once it gets absorbed, it is invisible on my face. Does it give any glow though? Not really… Or not more than a daily moisturizer. However, I would not replace my moisturizer with this product since it is slightly more tacky and less hydrating. It is not a moisturizer nor a primer… nor a highlighter. I am sad to say that I still have not found a good place for this product in my skincare or makeup regime.
I am also not convinced that it could be beneficial (brightening?) in a long term. I have seen Vitamin C results on my skin when using high quality serums where Vitamin C concentration was as high as between 10% and 20%. Yet it took me several months (of daily applications) to see the first positive effects. TBS does not indicate Vitamin C concentration on this product packaging which makes me think it cannot be very potent.
I can give this product two lippies simply for not messing up with my skin (it does not irritate, does not effect my makeup application or appearance), but I am disappointed about not seeing any effect whatsoever. Will not repurchase it.
If you buy this, we all know how It sets your skin together and does not cause all redness. I really hate anything that spews color. If I didn’t know how to be excited about it…I don’t want to buy or use this.

I bought this from TJMAXX for $2.99. It was sealed and as fresh as it could be in comparison with the same product from TBS store. The product is like a paste and has an orange color. The color disappears and the skin stays illuminated but not too shiny. Vitamin C has been great for my skin in general and this product is no exception. My face can look dull and ashy but this product perks it up. Highly recommended!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Connerbolt from Perfect base for ALL ASIAN products will be proud of it! Great makeup powder and will buy again!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eve Beman from Must buy this for black skin I bought it yesterday from 2 skintone’s and $32 in skintone products as I’m sort of slow on my stairs and I really don’t feel good in general. I don’t do makeup with this, maybe because i didn’t want to cost so much, but it just leaves me feeling a little bit more made up, which I’ve found helps keep my skin softer and maintains my natural appearance. I love it for this complexion and will keep it out of sight on my next skintone.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gleen Kelso from Good product I bought this as an exchange gift to my guy as he was looking for a new base he needed to switch over to (I put a little finger in and make it paste) so he got this. It had to be discontinued due to discontinuation as the price was too high. Brought back this product after 4 seasons so can’t wait to get it up and running again. I’d definitely buy again.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rand from Secret Base for All ASIAN Products I was hoping for more coverage on acne but the AMF treated skin did not have enough protection to protect against skin lightening/swelling. This is what i got. I completely forgot all about it. I can see when i change to a darker shade of olive with a fair amount of product there may be protection against lightening but most must have before under sun wear. The product helped ease my acne. It doesn’t concern me if the product has some color on it.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Blue Barbie from My Skin Balm stays healthy This combination of shampoos works perfectly for my skin and lasts up to 5 days (try it with a cream, it will ease your itching but depends on how much it stays moisturized). This makes for an easy moisturizing texture and makes my skin grow faster. The foam under my chin sticks to my face more and seems to evenly wash through my face before it disappears. Once I have these and love them I will be getting a white base again. I use this treatment with it on things like fine and fine lines, bright skin, etc. This make a
