I’ve been using Renee Rouleau’s products for about a year now, and this is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE product of hers. My skin is sensitive and most of the Vitamin C products I use really sting and irritate my skin. Not this one! Plus, from past sun damage, I have a few dark spots and now they are completely gone. LOVE this one!

I’ve been using Renee Rouleau for about 8 months now, including this product, and I must say that I won’t be buying this again. I love this lotion’s light texture, ease of absorption and delicate fragrance. I don’t love the pump bottle – it is difficult to get the last bit of product out; I don’t love the price – for almost $60.00 I really had high hopes that I would see more dramatic results and finally, I don’t like that the product contains a lot of oil (second ingredient) and makes my face very slick unless I blot regularly. Despite the oil, it didn’t make me break out more than normal. I think this would be an excellent product for someone with dry skin that can handle the oil, but it really isn’t a good fit for my combination skin. Don’t expect miracles from Vitamin C – this is just a good anti-oxidant moisturizer. UPDATE: I ended up giving the RR range another try earlier this year and bought this serum two or three more times. It smells nice and goes on light but I still didn’t see any amazing effects from the Vit C. It’s supposed to be a skin lightener and my freckles look the same. I liked using the serum more at night than during the day. When I finish this bottle, I plan on seeing if I notice any difference before deciding to repurchase.

Excellent product – the best C product I have used and it makes a great under makeup moist. for day. Works great for my sensative, sometimes dry, sometimes oily t-zone. Feels great on the skin with no greasy feel and I love the light natural scent which, like all of Renee’s products, comes from the natural ingredients only – there are no added perfumes. She only uses the best cold pressed natural plant extracts and oils. JUST A NOTE – You can get all the product out of these types of bottles. Once you cannot pump any more out, twist the top off and use a q-tip to get into the top area to get every last drop. But never take the top off until then as it will not pump correctly after that and also it will not be sealed after that so that air can get in which damages Vit C. That is why the seal an this type of container is so important. If you purchase a product with this specific type of Vit C and the container does not seal, it is not doing you any good as the air damages the C. So the bottle is really important.
