Update: after two months of using I’m taking down a star and deciding I will not be repurchasing. Why? Because, yes, this thing works, yes, my skin is very clear now (no blackheads), but they should take a leaf from Paula’s Choice’s book and fix their formulations. They decided to add _essential oils_ to a serum which already has a BHA in it, so instead of adding something soothing to counteract the exfoliating effects of the active BHA, they add more irritating ingredients which further sensitize your skin. And I noticed this after over a month of regular use, my skin has been becoming increasingly stripped of its natural barrier. I bought a snail cream to support my skin through the treatment.

I suffer from a lot of congestion and I’ve never really used a special serum targeted at clearing pores. I wanted to try the COSRX blackhead liquid, but this serum was discounted at a local drugstore, so I gave it a try. It completely changed my face situation.
Within a week I noticed my face getting brighter and clearer. I think you need to wait at least three or four days to notice a difference. I still have some bumps and clogged pores trapped underneath the skin, but I think they just need more time to come out. Last night I was finally able to squeeze out a big whitehead which had been sitting on my temple for months.
My only word of advice is to make sure you moisturize a lot while using this. If you dry out your skin, it might react in a really bad way. The rest of my routine is very gentle, I cleanse with micellar water and apply a Niacinamide serum as well.
