I like this, but cannot use it on my chin or it breaks me out. I suspect it has something to do with triggering hormonal acne, so I skip my chin and use it everywhere else. I also don’t think it is my imagination bc every single breakout has corresponded with me using this on my chin. Almost like I say, “well, I have not broken out in awhile, I guess I will try TNS…” and, bam, I break out. So I think after like the 6th time of this, I finally believe it really is the TNS breaking me out. I read that there was even a lawsuit about growth factors possibly causing acne, so I am going to trust that it can exacerbate hormonal acne and warn all of you to avoid your hormonal flare up spots.
I do think it improves the rest of my skin, however; although, I am not sure how much credit to give it, versus Tazorac. You see, I began using it at the same time that I began using Tazorac every night, since it made the Tazorac less harsh (perhaps through dilution, since I applied TNS first?). Since I have been using that combination, my skin has improved dramatically. It looks a lot smoother and younger. Not sure if it is just due to the Tazorac, but I will give this product some credit, since my nose skin looks better, and I have not been using Tazorac there (since I worry retinols make my nose red).
It is very expensive, but if it helps my skin stay young looking, I am willing to pay for it. I use this version and not the Essential, just bc I am mixing it with Tazorac and don’t want the antioxidants in the Essential formulation to interfere with the retinol. I have used the Essential on my neck, since retinols are too harsh, and it works fine. It is even more expensive than this version, so I may just start using this version and stop buying the Essential.
One more note: I would recommend buying the 1 ounce version. The other version runs out far too quickly.
Update: this stuff definitely burns my eyes, even when I avoid the eye area. I’ve been avoiding it, lately…

This is stuff is way more than I typically pay for skincare, but I splurged after going to see Esthetician who recommended a regimen that included this product. I have to say after just 3 weeks my skin looks amazing and I am 57 years old! Such an improvement. Now it could be the combination of all the products, who knows, they include Revision skincare Vitamin C 30 and Hylauronic Acid with the Elastiderm from Obagi….but I am sold. Darned because they are so expensive. Guess you truly get what you pay for!!

Do people even realize this stuff is made of foreskin??? You know, from a baby’s penis!!!

This product did nothing. i ran out in less than 10 days. It smelled awful and made me gag. My skin burned and was read and painful. I started to lose my voice. I am afraid to use it due to the cost and terrible smell. But, the doctor just gave it to me and charged me for it. I want to take it back.

I can’t write a full review because I’ve only been using it a week, but it doesn’t smell terrible/ dirty socks like everyone says. They must have reformulated it to address that. Now it smells good although in an artificial way.

This product does smell quite terrible like other reviewers have mentioned, but it soaks in nicely and the smell disappears.I use it in conjunction with skinmedica’s tri-retinal complex at night and before a vitamin c serum in the morning. My skin is baby smooth and has a much more even tone after five weeks of religious use. I should note I only started using the vitamin c about 10 days ago and it has had a marked difference on the tone evening but my skin seemed to glow even before and it has decreased the severity of burgeoning fine lines around my eyes. I’m only 25 but I’ve been a smoker (recently quit) for about 4 years and it took a toll on my eyes. It’s very pricey and I will be trying out other products when I finish to see if I can find a cheaper comparable product.

I bought this from a surgeons office after hearing about how great it worked. I was a bit skeptical, especially since it’s very expensive. They offered a 20% discount since I had attended one of his seminars so I bought this which tightens the skin as well as the SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF Antioxidant which is supposed to smooth & even out the skin.
First of all, the color is supposed to be a bright red gel. If it’s rusty red, it’s old. The smell is like old gym socks left in my sons football cleets for a week. I mean it really smells BAD! The smell does go away when dry. You must apply moisturizer over it because it is NOT a moisturizer, it’s a treatment.
The bottle lasted me exactly 43 days and my skin looked great! How do I know it really worked? Well because I bought a second bottle from Amazon and found that the smell and color were NOT the same. It was an old stock. When it’s more than 2 years old it loses it’s effectiveness. I began to notice that my face wasn’t looking so great as it had in the past month! (NOTE: The Phloretin CF made my skin radiant by the way)

Good product overall. I used a bottle every other night (alternating with Renova) and then followed it with the Dermal Repair Cream. I didn’t think this was a life changer, but good enough for me to buy another bottle and give it some more time. As previously mentioned, the color, texture. Also you really need to use a moisturizer over it because the product itself is almost drying (esp in the winter). Best to incorporate into summer routine.

After a complete face transformation in early February, which included a facelift, upper and lower eyelid and brow lift, my plastic surgeon’s aesthetician GAVE me the TNS Recovery Complex, Ceramide Treatment Cream and moisturizer as part of my post op care. Obviously, they had confidence in these products. I healed amazingly fast. I was ready to face the public in a mere 3 weeks. I give much credit to the first two products. On the advice of my aesthetician, I eliminated the Ceramide cream after one month. However, I continue to use the Recovery Complex daily to great effect. This product was designed for post facelift candidates. It can be purchased on Amazon for half price. The smell is no issue.

Okay, upfront ~ this product smells nasty but it works. At first it totally smells like b*tt, I am not kidding – and yes it is funny! But, (pun intended) it is totally worth it. My skin looks so great! I am 40 and I get carded all of the time, no joke. And, the smell dissipates quite quickly after it dries so don’t be alarmed. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a more youthful appearance. Cheers!
