Im 38, fair skinned, oily-ish with hormonal breakouts. I use this once a week, sometimes twice if I am feeling fancy… Its a two step process. First I use 1/4 teaspoon from the jar and swirl it over my face for about a minute, and then I use 1/2 teaspoon from the bottle and massage onto my face to combine both. There is a subtle foaming and warmth when the two are combined. I then just walk around for about five minutes talking to my cats while continuing to gently massage my face with the combined product. I then wash it off and apply serum and a moisturizer. My skin has never been smoother or more even in tone. If I skip a week, I can definitely tell the difference in texture.
While the jar and bottle contain very little product, a little goes a long way, it smells like citrus. Scrub wise, its more fine sand than hard edged. I am an exfoliating queen and do not have a problem with sensitive skin, but others may want to do a test patch.
Expensive, but worth it. I’ve already bought a backup for when I run out.

I love this stuff. It makes such a difference in my skin. I love to use it before a big night out. It really makes my skin appear luminous. I tried to find something to rival this however I ended up coming back to this.

This is such a quiet product, I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about it. I recently discovered this, but I had a sample packet from years ago that I never opened until last week. I absolutely love this, so I just bought a full size. You mix the two products together and then apply to a clean dry face, gently massaging for like a minute, then let it sit on your fave for another 2 minutes. When you rinse it off, your face will feel so unbelievably smooth and soft. I don’t get any redness or burning sensation with this product, and it doesn’t cause any breakouts for me either. It’s very gentle, but don’t use it more than 1-2 times a week, and always make sure to wear a good sunscreen daily.
I’ve been struggling with adult acne for years but it got worse in the last year. Along with using Out of Trouble mask by Origins, Dr. Bronner’s soap to wash my face, and this product, my face has gotten so much better. Love it!

Excellent product. I can’t believe how amazing and smooth my face feels after I use this. Feels like baby skin on my face and my pores look a lot smaller and my complexion is less red and more even toned.

I got a deluxe sample of this. It left my skin very smooth indeed, but without any lasting effect. In other words, it does what most peels does, so I don’t see a single reason to shell out this much for a peel. It’s also a mechanical peel on top of being a chemical one, and a pretty abrasive one at that. My skin felt a bit raw after using it. And in all honesty, I suspect you’d get similar results from a DIY baking soda/vitamin c peel. Considering the price tag of this peel, I just don’t think it’s worth it.
+ Skin feels very smooth after use
– Brand tests on animals
– Really freaking pricey, and not effective enough to warrant the price tag
– A bit abrasive
– Jar packaging – unstable and unhygienic

Not sure why I can’t find the product “the microdelivery overnight anti-aging peel” but I’m still gonna write a review for it anyway. Truth is, I’ve stopped using it for more than half a year and that only proved that it’s the best skincare choice I’ve ever made. When I use it, I try to use it once every week. Sometimes even once every 10 days. And it’s easy to lie saying I was blessed with good skin. But ever since I stopped using the peel, the blackheads and whiteheads are here to stay. Again. My skin is significantly less brighter and less silkier. Also sadly, my complexion has gotten less (much, much less) compliments from others. So I’ve swore to stay loyal to Philosophy’s face peel (whichever series) for the rest of my life.

I’ve been using this product for a few years, it delivers good results (considering it’s a DIY kit). The results Last just as long as getting a professional abrasion. I’ve actually stopped getting them professionally done because I’m happy with the results I get when I use the kit—as directed. I will continue to buy.

Guy Reviewer. Wish I had known about this miracle earlier. Works wonders even after first use. Pores appear tightened and skin is smooth. No adverse reaction which is good since I’m acne-prone and sensitive skin. Its so good that I always look forward to my weekly peel. *the satan says do it everyday but the angel says stick to instructions*

I am not finding it anywhere in my area (Toronto) & an beauty expert at Shoppers thought it had been replaced by the Philosophy Micro-D pads. No! I just LOVE this product!! I got this way way back when I started in skincare, hoping for a great product. Takes a few minutes to apply. Stacks well with a great moisture cream. Apply the vitamin c cream and wait 5-10 minutes before washing off and you won’t regret it. You should see a difference but now that I am a little more advanced in skincare, I found Prodicts that work better with my skin.
