   I used this stuff and and it worked really great, no hair and my face was extremely smooth.
   But when my hair grew back, that’s when my face broke out, I got these blisters all under my chin from ingrown hairs and I’m assuming also chemical burns.
   I don’t know if I did anything wrong, I followed the instructions perfectly and even did the whole 48 hour test and it removed all the hair completely after 5 minutes.
   I’d say if you have iffy skin that you can’t always predict with breakouts, hair growth or whatever, use a little bit and wait until hair starts to grow back to see then if you wanna put it on your face.
   I’m just saying for myself, who has combination skin, I have blisters under my chin that hurt horribly, flaky skin around my mouth from the healing, and thick hairs growing all in different directions now…

   This stuff works great! I ususally use Sally Hansen’s hair removal cream but I found this at Ulta for less than $4 and decided to give it a try and I’m happy I did.

   This is officially my favorite hair removal. I don’t know about all the other reviewers, but this removed 90% of my “beard” in exactly 5 minutes and did not irritate me in any way whatsoever. I think the key to getting this product to work is not to follow the instructions on the application. Just take the tube to your lip area and smooth it on, straight from the tube. That way you get a thicker application. Just make sure it is not too thick, because then if you have to take it off in 3 minutes or less. I’ve applied this with the scraper as the instruction says and while it works, it doesn’t do an exceptional job that way…Then use the scraper included and instead of one swoop per side, make two small scoops to get the most precise hair removal. Apply the soother right after. I like the Burt’s Bees ointment instead.

   This product keeps my lip area clean for an entire month. The tube itself lasts me half a year and it only costs $5.00 at Sally’s. Sometimes less if you have the card and they often have coupons for this line. I used the normal strength by the way, since the extra gentle is practically worthless unless your hair is very fine. I could stay with waxing, but no matter what salon I go to or the brand they use, I always get bubbles and a bad rash that lasts for days. Highly recommend it.

   It burns my skin, I want to remove my mustache, though it is not thick like a man or Mario brothers but it annoys hell out of me.
   It leaves my upper skin red blotches and scars… it is not suitable for my skin.:(

   This ish burned my skin, now my face is still harriy with patches of chemically burned skin. Im worse off than when I started. I threw it away after I saw my reaction to this product. Nope! Never Again!

   As a teenager, I used Nair for face to remove my upper lip hair, but it would sting and not work well. I still kept buying and using it though I had to repeat applications much more often, using it two days in a row to get every hair done. Then as a college student, I bought this instead, and found it to work really well! It still left my skin irritated after the 5 minutes I would put it on, but at least the hairs were all gone. I used this for about 10 years and recommended it to everyone I knew. The redness only lasted an hour, but the skin sensitivity would last for half a day so I couldn’t wear makeup if I used it in the morning and I couldn’t apply any night cream if I used it at night. This got on my nerves, and I thought there had to be a better product out there. I started sugar waxing and haven’t found anything better than that. Yes, my skin is left red for an hour or so, but it doesn’t sting afterwards and the wax doesn’t smell bad the way this stuff did. I made my own sugar wax 6 months ago and have enough to last me the next 10 years so it is definitely cheaper than buying this stuff. Of course, it hurts to wax every week, but I can handle it. If you can’t, I did stumble upon the Magic Shaving powder on clearance at Walgreens for 65 cents. I tried it and it didn’t irritate my upper lip skin at all and worked perfectly! Because it’s a powder, it is a little more complicated to use, but at least it doesn’t make my skin sensitive.

   I have been using this since I was 16…I’m 30 now. My mom introduced this to me because in my teenage years I used to get picked on about having a mustache. Yes boys are MEAN! At first I left this on for the full 8 minutes and ended up w/a chemical burn so I stopped using it for a little while. I always thought my hair was on the coarse side, but one day I left it on for 4 minutes and it did the trick without burning me. The smell does smell gross like rotten eggs but after you wipe it off it’s gone. I find this very convienent, discreet, and inexpensive.

   I’m surprised at the negative reviews of this product, since I’ve been using it for at least 10 years!

   I use this only on my upper lip where I have the slightest but of blond hair. It’s not much, but I can see it, so what can I do? I apply this just as directed, leave on for 8 minutes and try to ignore the smell. The cream removes all of the hair and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and the finishing balm is soothing and absorbs easily.

   I’m not having the time of my life when I use it, but it’s cheaper and more convenient than waxing.

   I picked up this Surgi Cream hair removal cream at the drugstore when I ran out of my usual Nair facial hair remover stuff, and this was the only thing I could find that was supposed to be specifically for facial hair. I have very fine blonde facial hair on my upper lip and chin, so I don’t really HAVE to remove it, but I think I look better when I do. Also, my skin is pretty sensitive, and waxing will invariably make me break out, so I’ve found that cream depilatories work best for me. I ended up liking this one much better than the Nair product, even though the Nair product (with the lip-gloss tube style applicator, meaning your fingers never have to touch the product) was a bit less messy.

   This product comes with a tube of the hair removal cream and also included is a tube of the “surgi-soothe cream with hair stop plus” for after you’ve used the hair removal cream. You apply with your fingertip, and while that is a bit inconvenient, it’s not that hard to wash your fingertips off when you’re done applying. All in all, it works very very well. The instructions say not to leave it on for more than 8 minutes, but I found that anything less than 8 minutes resulted in less than perfect results. Still, it didn’t irritate my sometimes-sensitive skin, nor did it result in a ton of breakouts a few days later, something I’ve experienced with other hair removal products/methods. It also doesn’t have a terrible odor the way some hair removal creams do, which is a miracle in my book. I don’t notice that the “surgi-soothe cream with hair stop plus” does anything to discourage or lessen re-growth, but it is soothing after using the hair removal cream.

   I’ve repurchased this a couple of times since my first experiment with it, and will likely continue to repurchase. It gets the job done, doesn’t irritate my skin, and doesn’t make me break out or regret my hair-removal experience. Your mileage may vary, but for me, this is the gold standard for facial hair removal.

    This stuff smells awful. Not only does it not remove ANY of the hair but no matter how short a time you leave it on, it irritates your skin. I have a splotchy chemical burn, that is very painful, on my face for leaving the product on for 4 minutes…the maximum is 8 minutes.
