I will start by saying I think its really unfair for people to judge a product based on one ingredient, especially someone who is not a professional. Glycerin is not a “cheap” ingredient, its a given in most moisturisers because it works, and without disrupting many other/different ingredients in a product.
Even Chanels most expensive moisturisers contain large amounts.
Glycerol is used mainly as a means of improving smoothness, providing lubrication and as a humectant.
Well back to the product. I think its a really great product, when I wake up in the morning, my skin always looks and feels moist and soft.

One of my few HG skin products – I can always count on this to make my skin look and feel a ton better, no matter what state it’s in.
I only use this at night, as directed, because the vitamin A makes skin photosensitive.
This is first and foremost an anti-aging product, but I’m only 22 and I have been using it for years. I have very fair, thin and transparent skin, that is dry and prone to acne and redness – yay. But this product helps with the thin skin, the redness and breakouts. When I wake up in the morning after using this, my skin always looks much more glowy, clear, even and less see-through. Miracle. I will always use this.
It is quite expensive, but I live in Denmark and this is a Danish brand, so I often find it on sale. The cheapest I’ve found it was at 20% discount at my local pharmacy! And if you can choose between the 50 ml. and the 100 ml., go for the big one – it’s cheaper in the long run, and so worth it.

Ok, so an esthetician gave me a sample of this and the `Creme Paradoxe Day Cream`. To be honest, I thought `great, ANOTHER product that suppose to work wonders, who cares`, so I put them aside. A week or two later I used this night cream in the evening, and I woke up with gorgeous skin! I mean my skin is really pretty, but I can have acne (from other products except my favorite Clarins), I can have redness sometimes. This night cream worked like a miracle, my skin looked radiantly healthy, happy, evened out, gorgeous! I have used this a few nights in a row now, and every morning, clear, gorgeous skin, really… :-))) It is on the more expensive side but not too bad (I think around $90). This line was developed by a Danish medical brand to rebuild skin after surgeries! IF/WHEN I start using real anti-aging products, there is no other brand I will use, seriously, but this…
The brouchure says that if you have sensitive skin, use it every other night first as it is quite strong, has 3 different kind of Vitamin A…. Also, you can have a few breakouts they say as it cleans the toxins out of your skin… Hm, I will update later, but so far it really made a visible difference.

My Seattle dermatologist gave me this stuff to “try.” It is fantastic. I am 54 and between this product, Skinceuticals CE Ferulic, and the original strivectin, my extremely dry and aging skin is singing a happy tune.

Love this stuff. I was a Philosophy fan, but recently switched over. The spa here in Seattle carries this stuff. It is available in the U.S. I have been using it every night. It has really made my skin soft and very clear. I will update in another month.

This booster is a miracle product – and that comes from someone who don’t beleive in miracle products. I have never felt so devoted to one single skincare product in my life, and that says a lot. But I have never seen results like this before – and not only quick, but persistent results. I have used this for four months now and my skin just keeps looking better. MIRACLE, I tell you! And this is why (warning, long review):
I have sensitive AND confused skin, meaning it’s very dry in places, but I’m still acne-prone and (used to) break out a few times a week. I can’t use harsh acne products due to sensitivity and dryness and many products for dry skin are too oily and make me break out even more. Well-known dilemma for many with acne-prone skin, I guess.
Well, this booster have made all the difference in my routine. It is a powerful vitamin A treatment for oily and/or acne-prone and/or sundamaged skin that should be introduced gradually to your skincare routine and used at night (but remember, my skin is dry in places and it loves this booster!). It claims to neutralise sebum production and calms (propolis content) and strenthens (vitamin A) the deeper layers of the skin over time.
And the best part: It really does! I can feel my skin getting thicker and more resillient. When I wake up in the morning, my skin looks and feels calm and clear. When I get a pimple, it’s just a small, isolated pimple, not a big, pulsating, ugly cyst that I used to get. I still have breakouts, but now it’s more like one or two a month, and they are smaller, NOTHING like before. And all this without any drying of my skin whatsoever, which has always been my problem with products that worked on the acne. Also, this is a triple-vitamin a product that supposedly thickens my skin and makes it less prone to wrinkles – cannot testify on that since I’m only 27 and don’t have any yet.
It’s a light yellow lotion/creme that comes in a tube. Very hygenic and a 50 ml tube lasted me about four months of every-night use.
Pros: Really good job at controlling sebum, NOT drying, very calming and anti-aging properties.
Cons: Smells funny (I can live with that when a product works) and is expensive (about $70 for 50 ml). Also, I think this may be hard to come by in the states – even though I heard they carried it at Sephora one time, dont know if they still do. Its widely available in Denmark and I guess to some extent Europe.
About the brand: This is a very new skincare company founded by an engineer who found out a way to scan the different layers and textures of human skin and began developing skincare to target thin, aging and sundamaged skin. Vitamin A is a key ingredient in many products. The company claims that the succes of their products are due to their patented penetration system, in other words that they have discovered a succesful way to ensure that the beneficial ingredients are actually transported to the targeted deeper layers of the skin. They also do scans of customers’ skin occasionally (at least in Denmark). They are recommended by plastic surgeons and dermatologists wolrdwide, but apparantly do not spend loads on marketing.
My personal experience is that these products really work. The mosturizers are good, but not exceptional, but their special products, this booster, the serum, the vitamin A moisturizer and the new creme paradoxe are all EXCEPTIONAL products, with the booster in the lead (for me). Try it, you will not be disappointed! Sorry for the superlong review, I just think you guys at MUA deserved to be let in on this skincare HG!
