very expensive. left my skin feeling oily and sticky, did not sink in even though i left it on overnight. left my skin moisturised when I woke up, but due to texture I would not buy again .

Waste of money. I went into Space NK on Bishopsgate and left £139 less well off, clutching this facial oil and a Rodial dragon’s blood sculpting gel moisturiser – or something like that. I’m 50, with good skin (it’s a little dry and can get red around the nose but nothing drastic). I can’t even say this stuff is awful since it did nothing – zip, zero, nada. Not moisturising in any way. Back to Sisley I go. Unless you’re under 30 or have oily skin, skip this. And where the heck has the swap board gone? This would be going on it, but it’s disappeared, so I shall find some poor unsuspecting dewy skinned 20 something to donate it to.

Love this oil! I’m very oily and use this at night or when I travel for work , airplanes kill my skin but this is great. It’s a water based oil so it’s very light, absorbs quickly and is not greasy at all! And I love the light rose scent it has .

This is my first Rodial product. The product itself is ok, quite hydrating but the texture is not too oily, although I still use cream/lotion afterwards. However, the only thing I can’t accept is the scent. The rose scent just smells like you’re applying a bunch of artificial essence to your skin. Will not buy, will use if I were gifted (like this current bottle).

This is the only skincare product I’ve used that has immediate, visible results. The effect is subtle, but when I put this on, I immediately look better rested, better hydrated, and generally a lot more glowing. One bottle lasts a very long time even with regular use, and I will definitely rebuy. My only complaint is with the packaging. The outer container is substantially, obnoxiously larger than the actual product reservoir inside. As I tend to travel with this a lot, it takes up an annoying proportion of my TSA-allowed quart-sized bag, and I don’t think it makes the bottle feel like a better bargain. There’s a small amount of product inside, that’s fine, no need to take up so much space.

Usually I´m not particularly sensitive to scented products – but this is SO strongly fragranced that I actually hesitated to put it on my face. It also has an extremely liquid, watery consistency and in spite of the high pricetag, has no luxurious feeling to it. I still used it once, but it didn´t even give my skin a hydrated feeling. A complete fail, in my opinion.

This oil comes packaged in an opaque purple bottle with a dropper attached to the lid. I like the packaging because it is fairly sanitary and allows you to accurately dispense the proper amount of product without making a mess. The oil is meant to be applied before your usual moisturizer and can be used day or night. I have combo skin that is oily in the T zone and I like to use this at night by itself. It provides hydration without feeling oily. I haven’t noticed any improvement in my wrinkles, but I wasn’t really expecting it to make a difference in that department anyway. Overall, it is a nice product to have, especially if you like the scent of roses. I would not hesitate to purchase this again, but only if I find it on sale.
