THIS STUFF IS FRICKING AMAZING.
I tried this for the first time today. Like the box says, Results with the FIRST use! My skin looks bright, tight, pores seem to vanish, wrinkles minimized. My complexion looks the best it has in YEARS.
Initially I was a bit skeptical and kept the $72 CAD receipt just in case so I could return it if it didn’t work. Basically did this: I did not wash my face beforehand, but I applied the solution using the supplied cotton pads, left it on 10 minutes, and rinsed with plain cold water. My skin looks incredible!!!
The packaging does suck, as the other commenters have given their feedback on. I could do entirely without the eyedropper. Why not just apply it directly to the pads instead, like toner? I don’t know what Neostrata was thinking; maybe they’re hoping that the user doesn’t touch the solution with their bare fingers, contaminating the whole bottle?
I did not experience any “peeling” of dead skin cells. Because of the product name, I was half expecting my face to slough off or look flakey afterward, like I had a mild sunburn. Nothing of the sort. For me, it seems the solution dissolves the dead skin cells, which then get rinsed away.
For a skincare line, I now rank Neostrata #1 in my books. I see actual BENEFITS and CHANGES in my skin with their products. If you have oily, sallow skin like me, go ahead and give this stuff a go, you won’t regret it!

I’m not sure how confident I am on this product yet for $74.00. I’ve been using this for about two weeks. I decided to buy it because I had read reviews here and I had been “eyeing” it for some time at Shopper’s. I thought I would buy a “facial” in a bottle. When I apply it I don’t use any cotton pads at all – I just use my fingers. This way no product is getting “wasted” in a cotton ball. My face is already cleansed so it’s not like I’m using it to get rid of makeup. I do find that it feels better if I leave it on for about 15 minutes versus 2-3. So I’ll put it on and go do something else. My skin looks good but I still feel dry. But right now I’m wondering if that’s because of my moisturizer and not this product.
Edit: Update Nov.24/2012 – will use this up sparingly but will not repurchase. Would rather spend the money on a silk peel or facial and let the experts do their thing!

I generally really enjoy products from the Neostrata line; however, this product never fails to break me out every time I use it. I have tried using it only once a week, as well as several times per week. I’ve tried leaving it on for 5 min as well as up to 15 min. To no avail, this product causes a breakout every time. Too bad, especially considering the price. I prefer the Resurfacing Duo.
