So I ended up purchasing this product despite the mixed reviews I read online and despite the egregious price…… then a day later, I took it right back to Nordy’s! I’m 32 and nearing 33 and am constantly feeling like I should be using the lifting/anti-age products. Even though my skincare consultant told me I have perfect skin and don’t need those products at this time. According to him, using products that your skin doesn’t need presently actually speeds up aging and does more damage to the skin. Well, I was somewhat intrigued by the Skin Caviar Liquid Lift, but instantly upon application, my face became very itchy and something just didn’t feel right. I didn’t really think anything of it until the end of the day, when I saw that my entire face had little tiny red spots all over!!! Since this is literally the only skincare product I had on my face, I’m 100% certain it’s the culprit – probably because of the high alcohol content and because it’s so heavily fragranced. I would think I’m the only one with a negative experience, but after reading other reviews by users pertaining to the ingredients in the Liquid Lift, I’m somewhat appalled that young people are using this. The price of skincare does not phase me when it comes to my skin – in fact, I am absolutely in love with my La Prairie Cellular Power Charge Night ($510 pre-tax) and La Prairie Cellular 3-Minute Peel ($220 pre-tax) and will skip meals if I have to, in order to keep purchasing them. Young people, please save your skin and your money!

I am not old anyway, at my early 30s, but this serum makes you look like having a facial lift surgery or three days continuous use of SKII mask. Sometimes I use this with the luxe cream, sometime not, my skin has completely….reborn.
The only down side is I purchased this in 50ml version, after activating, I would say only about 35ml left, which last me about 6 weeks am and pm use. I guess there is some air in the beads, so after activating the air gone and there is actually 50ml.

I’ve been using quite a few La Prairie you products over the past year, and received deluxe samples of this serum. I had been using several samples from a multitude of brands, but really gravitated toward this one. I have combination skin and always worry that a new product might cause a break out. This serum literally had the opposite effect. I found that my t-zone which consists of my nose and chin actually improved with the use of this serum over the course of two weeks. Two small blemishes I had cleared up quite quickly, and one I felt coming on vanished altogether.
Since the product is rather expensive, it’s fantastic that you only need a drop to cover your face and neck. To me, that makes the price tag well worth it. I use this serum underneath the Skin Caviar Luxe Cream every morning and am thrilled with the results. I don’t wear or need foundation or powder, and my skin has never looked more radiant or taut. Another winner from La Prairie.
