If I had to have just one oil, this would be it. I blend a few drops into whatever moisturizer I’m using at night, and somehow it becomes magical. My face is softer, smoother and more hydrated in the morning. It IS gaggingly expensive, but I made sure I bought it when sephora ran their pre-Christmas discount, so it didn’t hurt quite as much. It’s a nice blend of oils – it’s not just sea berry (a/k/a/ sea buckthorn – they’re the same thing). It plays very nicely with my skin and at this rate, it’ll last me years. 🙂 Glad I spent the $$ on it.

I have combo acne prone skin. I use a lot of actives and I get a bit dehydrated. I’ve loved the idea of oils but most break me out. Squareness, Marula, and jojoba all break me out. Argan works pretty well. My skin loves this oil though. I apply is as the last step in my skin care (on top of my moisturizer) and it adds a nice extra punch of moisture. It absorbs quickly. I basically use this as a moisture booster. It’s pricey but while I have Minnesota winter to deal with, I’ll pay for it.

i love it
fresh is a such a good brand for my skin that i love almost every single product. This is a beautiful oil, which give you a nice glow and hydration and it lasts even when after wasing my face in the morning. The smell is really fresh and im addicted to the smell. I used it instead of skii spot essence and im not regret switching to it. My skin loves it and my budget loves it too. Also it’s sitting well under makeup and it makes my skin soft and smooth all day

This is a good value – if the product works for you. The first day I used it my skin was glowy and soft. Fast forward to a day later and whiteheads were popping up everywhere. I have breakout prone skin but it can handle other oils without a problem. The seaberry cleansing oil had the same effect. So if you’re breakout prone beware, maybe test in just one spot first or get a sample.

Okay, it’s expensive. Very expensive. I’ve also done the math and it’s cheaper to buy two of the travel size vs one full size, you get more bang for your buck that way.
Regardless of price, I will continue to purchase this as I have for years now. I have extremely only acne prone skin that seems to break out from everything… Except for this.
I also just started using retin a and experience that weird dryness and peeling on my skin (even though I’m still extremely oily), and this oil works wonders.
Bottom line, hydrates well, doesn’t break me out, and makes me skin look nice and healthy the next morning (I use it at night)

I like this oil a lot, it’s very moisturizing and healing and gives my skin a glow. No breakouts or purging. However I feel it is overpriced. It’s also very thick, so I have to use at least 4 drops to cover my face and even then it’s hard to avoid tugging at the skin in order to spread it. Having to use more because of this also means it doesn’t last at long. I might repurchase, it’s a very good oil, but might try something else.

I’ve tried many other oils and this seems to be the only oil that doesnt clog my pores and causes me to break out in cystic acne. I have oily acne prone and sensitive skin and am in my early 20s. I’ve tried other highly raved oils such as Tamanu Oil, Rosehip Oil, Sunday Riley Night Oil and this is the only one that makes me wake up feeling moisturized yet not overly oily. Most importantly, it doesnt break me out and neither did I have a ‘purging phase’ with this. Have been through 3 bottles now. Loving this product.

This oil is very rich and hydrating, but I do personally feel like it is a little overpriced in spite of the fact that the bottle lasts for a long time. There’s nothing phenomenal about it, it is just a moisturizing skin oil with some antioxidant properties. I’ve used this on my face and it has never caused irritation or breakouts. I have also used it mixed with leave-in conditioner and hand cream, and it adds extra moisture to those products as well. This is a little heavy for my face every night in the summer, but it is nicer when my skin is more dry. I will not repurchase just because I think I could find comparably moisturizing oils for a lot less, but I will use up what I have.

Pretty much every moisturizer breaks me out, but I’ve had good luck with oils and serums. This is much thicker than any face oil I’ve tried. It doesn’t smell very good, and it’s thickness makes it difficult to spread
I had some cream moisturizers that I was hanging on to even though they make my skin look horrible. The winters here cold and harsh and I thought I needed a cream to moisturize my skin in those conditions. Winter has passed but based on how this feels, I think it will do just as well of a job moisturizing in cold weather. I’ve been using it for several weeks now and no bumps or breakouts. I will definitely be repurchasing for next winter and tossing the creams that clog me.

This is my HG oil– it was my first ever oil moisturizer, and I was shocked and amazed by how well it worked! It literally eliminated my acne scars and decreased my acne, smoothed out my skin. The smell was a bit hard to get used to at first, but now I like it. I’ve used it for about 2 years before it expired (18 months, according to the manufacturer).
When it expires, it turns a weird nutty smell and the liquid turns from amber to white; the effects also don’t work anymore. My skin is a lot better now, so I probably won’t repurchase immediately to try out other products, but it really helped me out in my breakout-scar-phase.
