I have no idea which ingredient in this product broke me out, perhaps the Peppermint oil? I’m usually fine with Retinol in its many forms but this did not agree with me at all. Used only two times and had to stop using it straight away. Since moved on to better and milder yet just as effective products. Suggested to me by a friend but definitely one to test out first before committing to the full size tube.

SD Advanced intensive concentrate for wrinkles & stretch marks –
Wow! WOW!!! this stuff works and it works VERY fast for me! I bought it only 2 weeks ago in order to even out my complexion and while it did help to fade some of my red acne scars a little, it did something I didn’t expect it to do (and so quickly). the texture of my skin changed so so much! I have some acne scarring and my skin on my cheeks was quite.. well… “textured”… when I laughed, it almost looked wrinkly even though I am only 33 years old. what can I say… it is all gone. instead I have plump, smooth skin which seems refined but at the same time somehow thicker, tighter and more elastic… dare I say “younger”. I have been using this every morning and at night either alone or on top of my retin-a. my skin gets much less irritated from the retin-a and the starting cold weather here in Berlin and has a creamy moisturized “baby skin” look. I need MUCH less foundation as well! I use this instead of my moisturizer, it provides enough hydration for me which is great as I don’t like to layer too many products. Oh and I also have the feeling that my jawline looks more refined! My skin is still far from being perfect but I have never ever used a product where I could see results that quickly. I am excited to see what it will do to my skin during the next few months, I will definitely update! I have sensitive combination clog-prone skin.

It is difficult to accurately review wrinkle cream because nothing short of Botox and surgery takes wrinkles away. It is really more of a preventative measure. As far as very fine lines, I don’t notice them diminishing, and I pay close attention to every face line. However, my overall skin does seem a lot more smooth and somewhat tight. It does moisturizer very well, and makes my skin smooth and glowy. But that really wasn’t my main goal of using it. I love the smell and the cooling/minty feel. I like the packaging and how it’s not in jar form, or exposed to air and light. I LOVE that it has peptides in it. Which besides retinol is another proven ingridents for wrinkle prevention and cell regeneration. The biggest problem is the price. One hundred dollars a bottle for three ounces is ridiculous, maybe if it lasted a yr. but one bottle barely lasts me three months, and I don’t load it on. I think the high price is what makes people think it works so well. Which I must have fell for since I am desperate to get my hands on another bottle after I run out of my tiny three ounce portion.

Terrible product! I put this on at night and woke up the next morning with over 20 bumps on my face and with my skin flaking off. It was probably due to the heavy fragrance in it. Horrible!!

The new formulas isn’t as good (not even close) to the old formula. I am sadly disappointed in the new formula. It is very drying and doesn’t supply as much moisture as the older formula. PLEASE bring back the old formula!!

So a little about the brand Strivectin, all of the products contain the magical NIA-144 which is patented technology created by two skin cancer researchers and helps regulate the melanin (yes I know I probably spelled that wrong) to make the products more effective. ALL of the Strivectin products are formulated to work in a system with ANY other brands or products.This moisturizer will work just as great with another $170 cream as it would with a $10 cream which is great. It claims that in 2-8 weeks stretch marks and wrinkles will become less visible. My review will be based on the antiaging properties as I have not personally used this on any stretch marks. This product is to be used AM and PM on cleansed skin AVOIDING THE EYE AREA. This is not an eye cream! Reviews claiming it made their eyes burn most likely didn’t follow this direction and put it in close contactor around the eye area. I do use this product in conjunction with other derm products. I put it on my forehead and from my cheekbones down,completely avoiding the eye area.
Price:
This guy runs a price tag of a bit over $150 depending on the store, which is a bit more than the average “high end” skin treatment which is usually between $40 and $65
Packaging:
The Packaging in kinda “meh” I know its “less sanitary” but I like having my skin care in jars because they look prettier to me but the tube is ok. The only thing is I can predict that getting the last bit of product out in the future may be a daunting task. I wish the packaging looked more like the new product from Strivectin (the name totally escaped me)
Smell:
A lot of the reviews complain about the smell but it doesn’t bother me at all if anything it just smells kind of medicinal with maybe a hint of menthol. The only reason why the smell scared me was because usually products that contain menthol dry your skin out but this one does not.
How it works:
So I’m going to be honest I got this product 3 weeks ago used it maybe once a day the first week but for the last 2 have been using it every day morning and night. Igot really mad at the product because after the week of using it I didn’t notice any difference and it really made me angry. The second week went by and I still didn’t notice any difference and I was getting so mad it was ridiculous. Then After about 2 and a half weeks I finally started to notice a change THANK god and my face is looking a lot better. I just think this is one of those products you need to use religiously twice daily every day, and that if you do you will start togradually see the results promised on the box.
Would I buy it again?:
I hit yes mostly because I would be curious to see if the results kept getting better as they have so far. But for the price unless it keeps progressing and gives me amazing results for theprice I would be interested in looking into other products.
Would I recommend it to my fellow makeup alley ladies?
If you have the cash and the patients… YES. This is a great product but it isn’t for anyone who is looking for a quick fix.

This stuff has been nothing short oif miraculous for me! My skin has plumped out, it’s brighter, and by gosh I get SO MANY compliments!!! THIS – STUFF – WORKS! I’ve noticed if I run out, I don’t get them. So although it’s pricey, I’m starting to buy it during the sales and discounts even when I don’t need it so when I do run out I have it. It works that well! I’m working part time, and just like my bills this and the eye concentrate works wonders for making me look younger. I use them twice a day, in the morning and at night. I put on right after I shower while the pours are still open. My face actually resists wrinkling. Usually when I wake I have really bad wrinkles and fine lines because of how I sleep. When using this even those are much less. I don’t know what they put in this stuff, but I am a Strivectin convert for life!

Oh yeah, another do-nothing product. Good thing I had a sample of this because it would have been returned in a heart-beat. It irritated my skin, smells funny and almost can’t be worn under makeup. Didn’t like the stickiness of it. Just bad all around and it does nothing for the wrinkles!

Wouldn’t buy again… Didn’t help me on my stretch marks even a bit. Used it every day, 3 times a day, like it says on the package, and so far didn’t get any results . My stretch marks are still the same color, size and texture…. Don’t waste your money!!!
