This is my HG retinol- my skin LOVES it. It’s expensive, but a great value because of the amount of product you’re getting and the quality. I use this nightly before I apply TO Buffet Serum and moisturizer, aside from the 1 day a week I use TO’s AHA/BHA peeling solution, and I wake up with the smoothest, softest skin. The texture of my skin has improved dramatically since I started using it a few months ago. I would definitely recommend it to anyone whose skin typically gets dried out by retinol.

DO NOT BUY the STAR Night Rentinol face serum. IT DESTROYED MY SKIN! I put it one during the night and next day when I woke up my face and eyes are swollen, red, bumpy and itchy. I went to the office and all my colleagues what happened to my skin so I told them this company’s serum destroyed my skin. Now I am currently under my doctor’s prescription drug to treat this. Had to take pills and apply a prescription cream.
When I submitted a review at Stravectin website, they reviewed my posting and decided not to post on there website. Since when does a skincare company become so sketchy as to choose what reviews to post. They are highly unethical for doing this. I have also called there corporate head office and complaint and the customer service lady over the phone said I will not be taking legal action against them. Since when do they decide if they want a lawsuit or not. The customer decides on it.
I’ve also googled there previous lawsuits and it said they have false advertisement. I went to there Amazon site and saw this serum as stated “100% non irritant formula” which is a complete lie. I also felt depressed about my skin and affected me psychologically.
If you want some graphical pictures and evidence if the sketchy email they replied back to me, please send to [email protected] there was a way to post pictures of my destroyed face on this site, I would have jumped at the chance along with posting the evidence of the review posting rejected. I have also recorder the conversation of when I called there head office.

This is a gentle retinol anyone can use. I love it! It is for all skin types, and you apply it ON TOP of your cream to seal in all of the goodness this provides. It is gentle and not harsh or abrasive like other retinol products can be. It feels light but nourishing. You can use a serum with this, after cleansing and before your night cream, and use this on top to seal everything on your skin. It’s pricey but I love this product so much. Maybe try a sample if you are worried about breaking out or having a reaction.

Purchased during a business trip after spilling my retinol oil on the bathroom floor – Argh. Love the flexibility and power of a retinol, so this seemed like the logical choice, but not so much. Although the product was light, I found the scent heavy-handed. Worse yet, it only took 2 days before the arrival of my first blemish. Not sure of just how much retinol this product provides, but know that I will not repurchase and have already returned for a full refund.

This “Skin.Transforming.Advanced.Retinol” aka s.t.a.r.light Retinol Night Oil is expensive but oh soooooooo worth it. It contains: NIA-114, Biomimetic Retinol, Squalane and Chia Seed Oils.
Do not be alarmed at that bright orange shade of this oil, it does not stain your skin and once applied it is undetectable. It sinks into the skin with zero greasy residue and it smells positively divine. It has a light, fresh, fruity, floral fragrance and I love that the scent lingers. In fact, I love it so much that I tap a tiny amount on the back of my hands just so I can continue to smell it for as long as possible. Beyond the scent this oil makes my skin feel velvety soft and supple. It claims to correct the look of fine lines, wrinkles, texture and uneven tone. Additionally it soothes and protects dry skin and so far I have been pleased with the results (been using it for about one month now).
This is one of the most expensive anti-aging skin products I have purchased but I have no regrets and will repurchase again when I run out which won’t be anytime soon given how little is required and I don’t use it every night either.
