This is a really nice moisturizer, but the packaging is absolutely terrible. If I was rating just the moisturizer I would give the product five stars, but the packaging is bad enough to seriously impede my ability to use it.
First, for the good parts. This moisturizer feels light on the skin but is actually quite potent. It moisturizes my combination skin nicely. It’s enough for the dry parts without overwhelming the oilier areas. I’m using this as a spring/fall moisturizer and it’s working well for that purpose (my skin changes significantly from season to season). It has a pleasant honeyed floral scent. All of Skinfood’s skincare is scented. I love scented skincare, but if you are sensitive to scent, this is not the line for you.
Now, onto the bad, which is entirely the packaging. It’s nearly impossible to get the moisturizer out of the bottle. The bottle is made of a very rigid plastic, so it is not possible to squeeze at all. You have to try and shake it out, and barely any comes out. It’s basically a workout just to get some moisturizer. This needs to be in either a wider-mouth bottle or a jar. I’m having a very hard time getting product out of the brand new bottle. Who knows how I’ll manage to get it out when it gets a little more depleted? Skinfood, please, please, please update the packaging of your moisturizers. They’re good products at a good price, just in horrible packaging.

I got this as a sample along with the Royal Honey Essential Toner. I really loved how these made my skin feel. The smell is wonderful and not too overpowering. I also liked how these are moisturizing without being greasy. Unfortunately, these kept breaking me out in tiny pimples around my mouth. Other than that, I think these are good products and are definitely worth a try if you can grab some samples.
