Its early days for me with this product and retinol in general but I like it. I noticed a difference the first morning after I used it the night before. Improved skin texture and reduced redness. I suspect it might be a gentle introduction to retinol products which is exactly what I needed. It seems more like a medicine type cream than skin care to me for some reason (maybe the tube) but it feels great on the skin.

I was initially cautious to use this product as I thought it might be too rich and aimed more at dryer, more mature skin than my acne prone, oily skin. However, I have been pleasantly surprised!
I have used Tazorac, Retin A (various strengths), Retin A Micro etc in the past, and whilst they helped somewhat at keeping my breakouts away, I found my skin always look dehydrated and irritated and yet was out of control oily so I gave up on these products after years of use. I find this product to provide noticeable results without the dehydration and irritation.
Firstly, it does not break me out like I feared, in fact, it’s keeping break outs at bay.
In addition, it has made my skin more uniform and even and it makes my pores appear smaller.
It is very gentle as it does this all without drying out my skin or making it more oily.
Obviously Retinol is not as strong as Retin A so this product might take longer to yield results, but it is worth the effort for me if it means I don’t have to deal with the other issues I was having with Retin A products.
The price is good in comparison to other products and I feel the tube will last a long time.
I will say I use this product in conjunction with the Neostrata smoothing lotion 10% in the morning. I might take a day or 2 off this routine as I don’t want to over do it, but my skin is looking better than it has in ages!
I can’t say enough good things about Neostrata! It is a brand I would highly recommend trying.

I had never used NeoStrata before.
I’m now using up my first tube of Renewal cream and have already repurchased it,
sth I very very seldom do, as I love to try out new skin care (and make up) products
and I’m always on the look out for sth new and better.
This is an excellent cream, at an affordable price, that I use at night, as it has no SPF.
Nice, pleasant texture, moisturizing, but not oily, no perfume.
I also use it on the eye contour, as I found no indication anywhere that I should avoid
this area. I often have problems with eye contour creams (burning sensation, tears), but nothing of the sort with renewal cream.
What I like most about it are the results on my skin in the morning: moisturized, revitalized, glowy.
I tried it out only on my forehead the first time, for fear it would be too strong for my skin,
the second evening on my whole face. No problems whatsoever.
I haven’t used it for so long, but long enough to say that it doesn’t irritate my skin. At all.
I don’t know about the wrinkles (I believe creams can do very little/if nothing), but I can say that my skin looks supple, glowy and feels tauter. The only thing is, I think you have to go on using it to keep up the results; when I want to give my skin “a break” and either I skip it or use some other cream, I notice the difference.
I definitely recommend it!

This product changed my skin from worst to its best!
when I brought this I’m a bit skeptical about it but when the day/weeks goes by suddenly I noticed my pores on my face had shrunk a bit and my pimples are very fast to dry up with no scars leaving on my face.. I LOVE this product! I definitely highly recommend it!!

I love everything about this product,I’ve been using this product for a year,I use it as night cream, It is rich and creamy but not too heavy,
the renewal cream seems to be helping with my hyperpigmentation (from sun damage, acne scars). my skin tone is much more even now that i have been using if for several months.
My skin appears to have fewer wrinkles and it feels so much smoother

I really really wanted to like this cream it’s 12% PHA with Retinyl – Acetate!! I love neostrata’s Ultra Smoothing Cream 10AHA, but this cream just blocked my pores, so it’s not on my fave list!!
