This product dramatically reduces the size of my breakouts within a day and helps them disappear within a few days. I use it as a spot treatment or apply a thin layer if there’s a small cluster of breakouts. It can be drying so I apply another layer of moisturizer on top of the treated areas.

I have combo acne-prone skin, and I’ve had every type of acne for the past decade, I’m 23. My recent acne typically is just small, short-lived perhaps makeup or food related zits, with one or two big hormonal bumps on my chin or maybe cheekbone area. I was losing hoe on finding a product that works for me, and after trying lots of “higher” brand names, i went back tot rusty ol’ Neutrogena and man am I glad I did. I started by putting this on pimples the first night or two when they’re real big and mean, maybe a small dot on each before makeup. Over the past few months using this, my skin’s actually cleared up and it’s the only thing I’ve added to my routine. Now I just put it on as soon as I feel a zit forming, and it either stops it right there and it never fully appears or it still appears but for a lot shorter of a duration and less mean-looking. Yay!

Purchased for my teenaged daughter in conjunction with the Rapid Clear Foaming Scrub to help her with hormonal acne breakouts and this has truly been a winning combination for her. She applied the spot gel to her blemishes (after cleansing) twice a day. The gel absorbs and leaves skin feeling as though you are wearing a smoothing primer which also makes any concealer or other makeup apply evenly and blemishes are less noticeable. Bear in mind this spot gel has 5% benzoyl peroxide so a bit stronger than the typical 2.5%. Product claims to reduce size of blemishes in as little as 2 hours. After the first day her acne was significantly reduced and after day 2, it was gone. Her skin is smooth in texture and I’m just glad she is no longer tempted to pick and cause damage leading to scars. Now she is using less concealer and foundation, rather having fun with makeup again instead of using it to cover up blemishes.

I’m 20, I have normal-dry skin with acne on my cheeks and chin. The bumpy ones that never really come up. Tons of those.
This is the only thing that works for me now. I used to use a prescription but even that stopped working. Right now I’m starting an office job and need to look older so I’ve been using this every night for about 2 weeks.
My skin is the clearest it has been in like 7 years. I’m so pissed I didn’t know about this product sooner. I’ve never had skin this clear or nice before. This is absurd. It works so well for me.

I tried this out due to some red patchy dry spots from previous cystic pimples i had that turned to scabs an now pink & irritated skin due to picking. I applied it to the spots an within a few hours the redness calmed down. It was not overly drying or overpowering but i can say quite effective.
I typically can not use anything on my face at all, i break out with certain foods i eat to so this to me was another risk to take.
I did use neutrogena oil free acne wash with aloe & calming which left my face soft without breaking me out from the second i used it so that was nice. I also stopped wearing make up which progressed my acne to begin with.
If this stuff would have failed me, I would have to go to my doctor for mirpuricen gel to heal the spots which ive done before.
Worst case scenerio down the road i may just try accutane if this doesnt work in the long haul.

I originally bought this product and applied it as directed, like a spot treatment. This was a big mistake it made my skin dry, flaky and the worst condition I’d ever seen it in. Basically I decided acne was okay so long as my skin didn’t look the way this product made it. I even considered returning this product to the drugstore which I always have too much pride to do.
Fast forward to 6 months later and my sister tells me she mixes a tiny dot of this stuff into her daily and nightly moisturizer. Though skeptical I tried that and it was a game changer. Seriously all my zits are gone if I do that morning and night but we are talking the smallest dot you can squeeze out, then mix with a quarter-toonie size of moisturizer and you’re good to go.
I would recommend this product or any Benmzoyl Peroxide product for this purpose. I like this one because it has a lower 2.5% concentration then some brands and if you are going to use it day and night it’s best to keep it low.
Overall: Godsend for cystic and everyday acne when used max 2 times a day in small quantities with moisturizer.

This actually works amazingly. I typically don’t get pimples but when I do, just put a tiny tab of this on.. it’s basically gone the next day. Love it!

A littlw background history; I bought this when I was in the United States because at some point I had a total breakout, pimples keep poppin’ everyday which made me very uncomfortable and lost my self confidence. I came into this product, and yes, I bought this product, didn’t care about the price, because I’ve been using one of the its brands ever since and it worked out perfectly fine on me.
What I can say? Well, this product was a total bummer. Everyday before I put on my make up, every night before I go to bed, I applied it on every spot I can see, wishing that by the next day it would hopefully dry up… but unfortunately, it was the total opposite. My pimples became worst, it had boils in it, it became bigger, and reddish. It was so embarassing!
A total NO NO to this product! Waste of time, money, and effort.

Absolutely does not work. The claims are false. I’ve been wearing it twice a day for the past 4 days and my acne spot is as prominent as it was the first day. I’ve even been wearing it overnight and reapplying it throughout the day. Don’t waste your money.

My face is literally burning right now from using this – all red and rashy, won’t cover well with makeup, not hot. If your skin is at all sensitive, maybe try it on a small patch of skin first. I thought my skin was just dry from using the benzoyl peroxide but there’s definitely a rash with little bumps specifically where i used this, and my face stings when i try to put moisturizer on to help with it. Didn’t work for me, but if you wanna try it out I suggest not doing it before an important event and testing a small area first!
