I needed a hydrating serum and was already making a colourpop order. I decided to try their sister skincare brand, Fourth Ray. I had heard good things about this hyaluronic acid serum, so I bought it. I do quite like it and it gets the job done. My skin does feel hydrated after using. I like to use a drop and a half. It does feel a bit sticky and it has a thick gel consistency. However, skincare layers nicely on top. There is a slight cucumber scent from the extract. They must scent the box it comes in because upon opening I was overwhelmed by it. I find I get the best results if I apply this serum to a damp face then IMMEDIATELY seal it in with moisturizer. Overall, I am happy with the product and would repurchase if I were already making a colourpop order and needed a hydrating serum. I do think $15 is a bit much compared to The Ordinary and Revolution Skincare, but I have yet to try their hydrating serums.
