I’ve been using the PSF PhotoNutriv Lightening Serum for the past two months after my first IPL treatment. I don’t see too much fading of the dark spots because they fell off a few days after the IPL but the lighter ones left that are less apparent. What has improved the most is my overall skin tone. It’s lightened up evenly and my face is brighter. I use less makeup and my skin looks even toned. The product is gel like serum that dispenses from an airless pump. The pump broke but I decanted it into an empty Hadalobo essence pump but now that it’s reaching the last third of the serum it’s getting harder to pump out. Other airless pumps I’ve used have been able to get to all of the product.
Pure Skin Formulations doesn’t get the attention it deserves compared to other brands but the few products I’ve used have done what they were supposed to without too much bells and whistles and fuss. The problem is they are hard to find so you have to order online. Lucky it’s worked out very well with the chances I took.
At first glance, PSF seems pricey compared to other brands but you get several natural plant lightening products in one so it works out almost the same without the hassle of several bottles to use. PSF are also fragrance free.

I wanted this product to help me with some of the pigmentation on my cheeks, and I used it for several months. But it did not really do anything to lighten the spots.

I have been using this product for a month. I am finding that it’s gentle to my skin and is slowly lightening the dark spots on my cheeks (near my ears) — this seems to be an area that I have consistently missed with good sunscreen application over the years. At the same time that I started using this product, I switched from SPF30 s/s to SPF55 s/s. Additionally, I’ve noticed that my overall skintone has improved since using the PhytoNutriv — more even skintone. Not a drastic difference, but a subtle improvement that I am pleased with. I think with continued use I will see even more improvement — a month into it, I do notice a difference from my starting point in darker spots. I was considering using Obagi Clear, but the HQ had me concerned. I don’t love the pump applicator on the bottle — it sort of spurts the product out and some of it sort of flies off my palm. If I press slowly and sort of cup my palm aroudn the spout, it’s less spurty. 😉 The key ingredients are Kojic Acid, Arbutin, Licorice, Mulberry & Bearberry (Uva-Ursi) Extracts,
B-Glucaderm™ (Beta Glucan), and Hyaluronic Acid. I plan to repurchase this product.
