Good for L’Oreal! They discontinued the Revitalift glycolic peel kit and I was upset about that, but they’ve somewhat redeemed themselves with this.
Knocked off a star because it’s obviously not as strong as the kit, as the directions for these peel pads say rinsing is not necessary.
Seems to make my dry, bumpy skin smoother and softer. My makeup went on more smoothly today. I’ll take the win.
L’Oreal, bring back the glycolic peel kit!

**Update** (08/2018)
I ended up switching to a different glycolic acid product for my face, but I would almost purchase this product again (if I could find it on sale much cheaper than it usually retails for) because I found a much better use for it! I have keratosis pilaris, mostly on my upper arms but in a few other small patches, and this stuff actually helped that situation a ton. I can see and feel a difference from just one use, so I love that about it. For KP, I used one of these all over the area at night and let it dry, then topped it with my usual body lotion/cream/butter. There’s always a noticeable difference when I wake up (smoother feeling skin, much less redness), and the KP bumps were almost entirely gone when I used this for about a week straight like that.
(05/2018 original review) I don’t like the amount of alcohol in these, or the strong smell (which in my experience is just what L’Oreal does with their skincare products for some reason) and I don’t love them enough to buy them again, but I’m not upset by the results I’ve seen. I got this about a month ago, and it was my first time using glycolic acid. I use them 2-3 times a week because my skin is sensitive, and the one time I tried using it two nights in a row I ended up with dry patches and some redness for a few days. Other than that, I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
I’ve dealt with adult acne for about 5 years, and now that my health is better, it’s mostly cleared up. But I was still having hormonal spots pop up once or twice a month (or spots from trying a new product), and I have scaring and hyperpigmentation that I wanted to try to fade. My vitamin c serum helped a little over the course of a couple of months, but only the lightest spots seemed to fade much. Just halfway through these pads I’ve already seen a huge difference. The lightest spots are already almost gone and the darkest ones are faded so much that I don’t feel the need to use concealer on top of my CC cream anymore. I only do that for an active zit when it’s really red and noticeable. The active spots go away a lot faster, too. I’ve used a lot of products over the years to try to clear them up as quickly as possible, and most didn’t seem to do much more than dry out my skin and maker the area even redder. With these, sometimes I’ll have a zit pop up, use one of these pads before bed, and the next day the spot is almost flat and lighter in color.
Also, I think the texture of my skin is better. The dips in my skin where my acne scars are look smoother. Not gone, but they stand out less than they did before. I’m not sure about my pores. They look the same to me. But my skin, all over, does look nicer than it did a month ago. For the first time in years I almost feel comfortable going out without foundation or something on.
So, these aren’t miracle working pads, but I don’t regret buying them one time and I’m definitely going to look for a product without the alcohol and fragrance.
Pros:
-Haven’t made my face feel like it’s melting
-Simple to use (no mess like a liquid product, etc.)
-Doesn’t make my face feel overly dry
-Has faded my post-acne marks/scars
-Active spots seem to clear up significantly faster
-Skin looks smoother and generally better
Cons:
-Strong alcohol smell
-Pricey, especially for drugstore products
-Has fragrance

I love glycolic acid pads so I was excited to give these a try. I used them everyday for a couple weeks and I noticed a big improvement in my skin. I my pores were completely clean and any clogged pores came out super easily. I do think that using them everyday was a bit harsh for me; after a few weeks my skin felt like it was burned. I stopped using them and started back with the Nip + Fab pads, which have a lower percentage of gycolic, and my skin is looking a bit less irritated. I will try these again if I start noticing dullness in my skin but only a few times a week instead of everyday.

I love this! I have young looking skin (staying out if the sun is my religion) So I don’t have too many lines at 38. my skin does get a little out of balance and rough. in three days, mybskin is butter soft using this (I don’t use the moisturizer) and I haven’t noticed any peeling or sensitivity. I pair this with a strong sunscreen and the Olay regenerist moisturizer and it seems to be paying off. the price is a little steep and you have to make sure you screw the top on super tight.

This is an excellent product, a gentle but effective peel in a convenient pad. I use it nightly before serum and moisturizer. The evenness of my skin has improved, the texture is almost surreal, baby cheek smooth, and I’ve noticed increased firmness. With a buffered (gentler on skin) 10% glycolic acid formula, this stuff really works on my normal, 49-year-old skin! Remember two things when using…always use your sunscreen as exfoliating acids leave skin more vulnerable to sunburn and damage, and keep these babies tightly lidded or they tend to dry out.
Happy beautifying!

I have been using these peel pads for about 3 weeks and haven’t noticed any difference at all. I don’t think it has enough glycolic acid to make a difference. Will not repurchase.
