I was recommended this product by a sale associate at a drugstore and she told me that she only use this product and that she really really loves it, so I decided to buy it even if the price is steep. I’m not a fan of this product, unfortunately. It doesn’t really do anything when I have spots or if I have zits, except coating them… and the product flaking off after a while. It doesn’t soothe them or dry them, something that I expect for the price. I will not repurchase this product.

I had spots during my first trimester of pregnancy due to hormones which was such a new thing to me I had to find a solution.
I decided to try this even if just to soothe the redness/blotchiness of the spots & I was surprised at how well it worked.
The product comes in a smallish tube with a metal ended applicator. The actual product is a clear gel & I found although it may have stung a little on first application, the overall sensation was one of soothing.
Yes it coats the spot so you do have to be careful with it flaking off after a few hours however I didnt mind that too much considering I was not wearing much makeup at the time anyway.
Everyday application to spots, a few times a day & my spots cleared up like magic.
I would highly recommend this even though I dont expect it to work on all skin types, it certainly works for me. Not cheap but a little goes a long way so worth it IMO.

Except the only pro that it actually does work on pimples, there are so many cons about this product that give me the nerve.
Firstly, the package is an upside-down tube which makes the gel pops-out more than the amount I actually need (and you all know Vichy is expensive).
Secondly, despite the wonder effect, the gel tend to be a little harsh on your skin. I don’t have sensitive skin but still it gives me a stingy feeling when applying on.
Thirdly, this product needs long time commitment, which means once you use it, you have to stick with it mostly forever. It’s like your skin has getting used to it and refuses to accept another kind of treatment. 🙁
