This stuff is great! I’ve had trouble with acne my whole life until recently, when I decided to take my skin’s hydration and exfoliation needs more seriously and educate myself about stuff like trans epidermal water loss and such (as many people with acne-prone oily skin often do, I was skipping hydration, trying weird topical treatments that eventually were giving me dry patches and so on). To cut a long story short I started religiously doing the double cleansing method and afterwards using a ceramide moisturizer, sunscreen, a retinol cream -in my nighttime routine- ,and noticed that all these did make a difference. However, I was still getting the occasional stubborn pimple/pimples once or twice a month (and I almost always got tempted to squeeze it which of course only made things worse), so I kept looking for an effective antibacterial treatment product. I couldn’t find a benzoyl peroxide cream here in Greece, so I ordered it in ebay – and actually paid double the price because of shipment. Still, it’s so worth it that I will definitely do it again when I run out. I use a tiny amount of product topically once or twice a day when I get a pimple and it has worked wonders. I haven’t got any irritation so far.
The most nerve-wrecking thing with all that lifelong “battle” against acne is the feeling that even when I put a lot of effort in taking care of my skin these little demons pop up and make it feel a bit futile. This product did gave me an adequate answer to that!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Now listen, I have to go camping out with friends and family. I just want to look good then BLOW, big ole’ fat zit underneath my lip. I was so desparate, but then I remember a long ime ago I bought “Zapzyt”, now put an icecube on your spot, then steam your face. Put this god on your infected area, a bout’ 2 hours and my zit is a bit smaller, doesn’t hurt anymore, AND THE REDNESS IS GONE! I MEAN ALL OF IT! Get this! It is about 5 dollars. Your 5 dollars will not be wasted. And compared to the other 50 dollar products, this is to die for :). GET IT GURL! *.*

It’s the first time I’ve used anything with benzoyl peroxide, although I’ve heard many good things about it over the years, like that it’s a very good acne-fighting agent and prevents antibiotic resistance. The first time I tried Zapzyt, I was using Differin at the same time. Not a good idea. It worked well to get rid of pimples for the first two-or-so days, but then I suddenly got a chemical burn. If anyone are wondering how that looks, the skin turns a purplish-brown color and gets very dry and flaky. Apparently, one should be careful about using this with retinoids. If your skin gets pink and then turns brown after using this, it’s possible that it’s a chemial burn. Luckily, this is not hyperpigmentation and will go away quickly (days to a week), as the skin flakes off
After this, I began using this over moisturizer to buffer it a little, and can use it daily like this. It’s fights pimples REALLY well – the inflammation is sometimes gone in under 24 hours, but some pimples can take a bit longer, depending on how deep they are. That this works s fast is really helpful for me, who is a picker – this prevents me from wanting to pick, and prevents hyperpigmentation at the same time (although I also wear SPF 50 during the day), as it limits the inflammation. I apply this pretty locally – just where the pimple or inflammation is, to prevent normal skin to be potentially dried out. I only use this once, in the evening, as it’s not invisible on m, because I apply it quite thick. Overall a really great product for me, for the price of only about $5. Would recommend

I bought this because PersaGel was sold out and I thought I’d give it a try, since they both have 10% benzoyl peroxide. PersaGel is better, IMO. I like to mix together PersaGel with Cetaphil moisturizer every other night (or more often depending on the blemishes I have going on), and this has worked very well for me. When I do this with the Zapzyt, it doesn’t seem to lessen existing blemishes at all. I wake up and they look the same as they looked when I went to bed, but with PersaGel they are usually smaller, and I think it prevents new ones better than Zapzyt does. A couple nights I just ran a wipe over my face, then put the Zapzyt on as a spot treatment, and it seemed to work better then.
Zapzyt didn’t seem to work well (be effective) with other products, such as with sunscreen moisturizer during the day, or moisturizer or other treatment at night. I always use the PersaGel in conjunction with other products, morning and night, so I won’t be buying this again.

I’ve been having random breakouts with a couple of pimples appearing overnight; and this stuff really does the job of helping them heal faster. I’ve noticed that with bigger ones, while it does reduce the swelling and dry out the pimples, the core becomes hardened underneath the skin & takes a while to disappear. It also leaves darker pigmentation, but since it does fade eventually, I’m willing to take that over having angry pimples that never seem to go away. I’ve heard acne.org also has a BP solution, but since I don’t have acnes all over my face, I’m happy with this.

I’m a 45 year old woman of color. I’ve tried so many products to clear up my ance. I’ve finally found a combination of using Clear Essence Medicated Cleaning Bar which is Sulphur 3.0% to wash my face with, T.N. Dickinson’s Witch hazel hazel 100%( xontaining Alcohol 14%) to gental relieve my skin that’s oily, irritated with blemishes an so on, ZAPZYT which is 10% Benzoyl Peroxide as the active ingredients, then I use Vaseline cocao butter to moisturize my skin. My face is so clear I even look 10 years younger…my children friend’s think so????( blushing). As with all products my face broke out for about two weeks then it cleared all up. It has become a daily routine for my skin. By the way I do not wear makeup at all I’m all natural, I try to avoid foods with High Fructose Corn Syrup.

I tried it with a little pimple in 3 days, and it just did nothing or nothing special to another product, but my skin not irritant or burn or looks like not fit with this product, so I tried it on all my face, and after 2 weeks ,my acne gone so well, all the old acne i have over month and month now disappear, and i just got some when i’m in period. And after 3 weeks, the only pros i see is my skin is super dry, but after 1 week i try with sleeping mask and moisture, my skin was better…Now I dont use this product anymore on my face cus I want to have a routine for my skin, like a combo so I’m trying Acne.org, but i still using it on my back and recommend it to my sister, and it still works well, I think u should try this pr more than 3 weeks to see the effect ( sr for my bad English :D)

This product was garbage and did nothing for my pimples. Whatever this is, it surely isn’t 10% benzoyl peroxide.

This is my HG spot treatment, lately I have Rx products and using 2.5 BP, well after several years of not using I realized how much of an HG it really is. I had a big pimple come up on my forehead and tried everything, desperate scouring the drugstore I remember zapzyt and how I used it before so let me try it…tried it and it literally dried out the zit the next day, it was flat and easy to cover up, I continued to use and the zit dried up and peeled off. This is my favorite spot treatment ever, I did notice the formula changed as I tried it this time, but regardless it still works wonders and the ingredient list is so small.

I don’t know if they changed the formula since they came out with new packaging… but the formula in the packaging before they changed it was HG for me. It would make my blemishes disappear in 2, 3 days max. The newer one doesn’t do much for my breakouts anymore :/
