The Biotherm website states that it is “A tissue mask that gives skin an infusion of 5% Life Plankton in only 8 minutes. After just 1 application, skin feels soothed, intensely hydrated & looks more radiant”.
I did experience excellent hydration after using this mask the first time. Skin looked immediately plumped, glowing and felt super smooth.
This excellent condition was also present in the morning.
This sheet mask is coated with a serum/emulsion like substance that is not runny at all. It feels somewhat cool on the skin at application. I found that it absorbed into the skin fairly well, though there was some residue after the removal of the mask. It took some time before it was fully taken up by the skin after massaging it into the skin. It did leave a perceptible film on the skin after application.

I find this mask excellent for dry skin types, or skin that has been out in the wind/sun. It does soothe and nourish the skin. However, if you have oilier/acne-prone skin, use this mask in the winter due to its richness.
