I picked this up at my local Loblaws when I ran out of my Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer. I almost didn’t buy it because I’m always wary of buying new moisturizers because they all seem to clog my pores. I’m so glad I bought this version instead because it is a little less intense then the Clean and Clear, being that is doesnt tingle as much, feels more moisturizing and seems to agree with my skin more. My skin is more plump, blackheads and clogs that I’ve had forever seem to be vanishing as well. I really recommend this for oily, clog prone skin!

This is my go-to face moisturizer. I have combination skin so I find face moisturizers break me out, but if I go without a moisturizer my skin dries out. Best I’ve found and so affordable! My HG! (better than Clean & Clear which it is supposed to mimic!)

I have pretty sensitive skin so I was a bit surprised that my skin didn’t lose control when I used this. Like the review below said, it is a knock-off version of Clean and Clear’s brand but I think it works pretty well. I have pretty oily skin so the drying effect of this cream benefits me! The pumping is great on the top and my favourite part is that when you twist it, you lock the pump- great for travelling. The smell is strong but I don’t mind it too much, it doesn’t last too long on the skin. An overall okay product!

This is truly not a moisturizer. Instead, it is a milder salicylic acid leave-on treatment that isn’t quite as drying. It is the generic SDM version of Clean & Clear’s Dual Action Moisturizer.
It has a weaker formulation (only 0.5% SA instead of the typical 2% found in most SA treatments.) Because I use Retin-A, I find the 2% treatments far too drying.
What I like about it is that it is good to wear under makeup to ward off clogs and acne. I usually put it on over top of light moisturizer, and underneath my sunscreen. It really does seem to help prevent my acne-prone skin from developing clogs in reaction to makeup.
I also like the pump packaging. What I dislike is the over-the-top floral smell, and the fact that this truly cannot be used on its own as a moisturizer, so the name is a bit misleading.
But if you’re looking for a very gentle SA treatment, this might be for you.
