I have this in the 2019 updated milky version. Its in a frosted plastic bottle instead of clear.
This is very watery emulsion that feels like a thin airy veil on the skin. It feels like nothing and is very comfy
It helps my skin with hydration and i feel protected by the veil. It works sooooo good with Chanel Camellia Water Cream. The two products gives me buttery, blurred, radiance glass skin. I love the way the Le Blanc smells and feels right after i cleanse my face. Its so silky and does what it is suppose to. If you are looking for something that feels refreshing and spa like while giving you a glass skin radiant veil then this in conjunction with the Hydra Beauty Camellia Water Cream is your answer.
Be aware this does have a lot of fragrance and its rhe reason i unfortunately cannot use daily. It irritates my skin a bit and i get an itchiness. It does go away but it isnt as comfortable as id like. I will not be repurchasing but it is a beautiful product to have if you dont have sensitive skin. My favorite skincare from Chanel is their La Solution 10 for sensitive skin.

This product doesn’t seem to work for me. Have not noticed any brightening and I’ve already been using it for a good 2 months faithfully with the rest of the Blanc Essential range. It’s not very good for dry skin especially in winter but feels much better in the summer for my combination/dry skin. Am going to persevere and start using the masque and 28 day Blanc Essentiel program. Perhaps I’ll have better luck there. Will not repurchase.

I received a sample when I purchased my Chanel loose powder and decided to give it a try since I’ve some freckles and age spots on my cheeks. This product is very lightweight and absorbs quickly into my skin. After applying only twice on my dark spots, I can definitely see a difference! Maybe I have slightly sensitive skin, I can feel the serum slightly ‘biting’ or ‘stinging’ the area that I’ve applied. However, since it’s working I don’t mind. The 5ml sample is really a generous amount that will last me for a while since I only use just a tiny amount each time.

I’m a Chanel’s skincare late bloomer. This is one of the first few items I’ve tried. After using this religiously day and night for over a month, I have noticed that my freckles/sun spots have lighten by 1 -2 shades. My skin is clearer too and very much even toned now.
The bottle does feel very light, I thought it was empty at first! Having said that, I love the pump bottle. 1-2 pumps is enough to cover my entire face and neck. The gel spreads easily and is very light weight. It’s not strongly perfumed like their Hydramax+ Active Serum.
Would definitely purchase this again!!!
ETA (13/10/08): Recently the product doesn’t seem to do anything to my face anymore. Really weird. It seems to have worked really well at first. Have stopped using it since.

Great product! I saw results after three weeks by using daily, after 6 weeks I stopped because my face had gone waaay paler than the rest of me. It is a serum, feels nice on the face, I would say slightly moisturizing even, non sticky, and slightly fragranced, not overpowering like some other chanel products. One pump is enough for my face, and lasts maybe 3-4 months with daily use. I don’t remember how much I paid but I bought this duty free when travelling. I have already repurchased, but these days I prefer a more tanned look. But sooner or later I will come back to using this. The pump dispenser and plastic bottle look great and travel well also. Next time I must remember to apply on my ears and decolletage too, looks a bit strange otherwise!

Just starting using this product and I can honestly say you get what you pay for!!! It’s expensive but it works. I noticed a difference almost immediately and after one week my skin looks great the age spot is slowing fading but fading none the less. the overall appearance has improved.
