I wasn’t initially enthusiastic about using facial oil. I got this because I was always seeing on Instagram and wanted to know if it works. Ever since my recent move to Toronto, I have had different issues with my skin. From lots of breakouts to dryness, redness, and sensitive skin. My complexion isn’t even what it used to be! The reason I wasn’t enthusiastic about using this product is this. Three months ago, a Sephora employee recommended that I use the Biossance rose oil and after using it for a month, the only obvious difference was in my complexion. While my skin tone was more balanced, there was still breakouts and whiteheads every now and then, both of which gave way to more skin redness. It wasn’t solving all my skin problems. Five weeks ago, I saw this product on Instagram and the design and packaging really caught my eye, and the results have made me really happy. I’ve been in Toronto for 8 months and for the first time, my skin does not only look healthy, but it feels healthy too! All my whiteheads are almost gone. Unlike the Biossance, the oil of this new product absorbs into my skin just perfectly. I never even see the need for using a foundation these days. This is because of how much my skin tone has improved. It is a lot more balanced and has evened out too. What amazed me the most about this product is the fact that I started seeing the results within just one week of use. I’ve been using it consistently for more than a month now and I definitely have noticed the right results. So far, I’ve been using it either in the morning or at night. I just make sure to use it at least once a day. During colder month, I use it twice a day, both in the morning and at night. One thing I love is that I can freely apply my everyday makeup when my skin has absorbed the product. It blends in perfectly with my makeup. I also love that I haven’t been having breakouts or whiteheads. I hugely recommend this product and I’d surely continue using it too.

Before I began to use the La Coéss Revitalisé face oil, I found out that my skin was deteriorating in this Fall. It became very dry and did not retain moisture. I decided to use this face oil right after my bath and when my skin is still damping. What I realized right from the very first week is that this product is very calming and has a soothing effect. It has made my skin feel much softer and it even retains moisture too. It also absorbs into your skin with ease. This product definitely gives you value for your money and I am thrilled I found it. My skin is all shades of beautiful and I couldn’t ask for more. The only one con of this face oil is the smell, the smell is like Vintner’s daughter, very herbal but less strong than that of Vintner’s daughter’s. My husband definitely doesn’t like such smell at all, I’m not a big fan either.

So I have a history with facial oils and have used some from Sisley and SK II but wasn’t so thrilled about the texture of my skin so I decided to go for this vegan and organic facial oil which I saw on Instagram. Most of the problems I have encountered with using other facial oils in the past has been the overuse or excessive inclusion of essential oils and fragrances in a product. So what I did was to do a background check on each ingredient and I was thrilled by my results. I can say that seeing the results on my skin and the fact that it does soften my lines in two weeks is magical. I will definitely buy this oil again. I get to use 2 drops each time so I actually think I may be using this bottle for about a year. I even get to apply it before I put on my makeup and the results are astonishing.

One of the reasons why I bought the LaCoess facial oil was because my skin had gotten dry due to use retinol, and a YouTuber said this face oil worked so wonderful when pairing with retinol products. I have an acne-prone/combo skin and it worried me that the oil might be too heavy for my skin and then, clog my pores. The good news is that it didn’t do that! My skin rapidly absorbs the oil and it doesn’t get greasy. I’ve used different kinds of oils but never have I come across one that sits perfectly on my face. I’ve been getting compliments on how much my skin is glowing. I’ve also noticed that my acne scars have been fading. No product I’ve used has done this so well. I definitely recommend this product because it did so much more than I originally bought it for.

This oil was sent to me in exchange for my honest review. I’m sure the other reviewers here were also sent a free product in exchange for their reviews. Which is fine, nothing wrong with that – provided that us reviewers disclose it up front.
It’s certified organic and cruelty free, which is great.
I’m a long time user of oils to moisturize my skin, and I will never stop because they just work so well for me. Typically I use either seabuckthorn seed, baobab or argan oils. I use creams very rarely. So I was happy to replace my current oils and try the La Coess. I used it every time I would normally moisturize, so at least once per day and often twice.
This is a lovely oil blend with many beneficial plants oils and extracts, and no synthetic fragrances. It does have a smell as there are a few essential oils added. If you’ve ever smelled TBS Oils of Life or Dr. Hauschka Day Oil, it smells like those: earthy. I can be sensitive to EOs on my facial skin, but this formula doesn’t bother or sensitize my face. It’s worth noting because some people can’t tolerate them at all, however.
It’s orange in color but does not stain the skin. This behaves almost like a dry oil – it’s not thick and doesn’t remain heavy on the skin after a few minutes. It’s very velvety and leaves the skin supple. It’s almost impossible to tell any effects from an oil beyond its ability to moisturize, though. Especially for me, a long term user of Tretinoin, antioxidants and acids. I can’t see that it’s doing anything for my skin beyond moisturizing it, which is fine for me, that’s all I expect from any oil. The La Coess oil does a great job at moisturizing and is light enough for daily use on my skin. I do enjoy using it.
Here’s the rub though – it’s over $100. That’s crazy expensive. (And not that I mind paying for my skincare, I am a regular user of Skinceuticals and Obagi products that cost well over $100, even up to $200). The problem is that I don’t feel this oil is any better than the others I’ve used. After 12 years of using oils on my face, I’ve tried them all, picked my favorites and end result is the same: nicely moisturized, supple skin. I have never paid more than $30 max for an oil, and quite frankly I don’t find it necessary to do so. So I would not purchase this product myself, despite being grateful that the company sent it to me.
La Coess is aimed at the luxury market, as clearly evidenced by their Tom Ford-esque Private Blend packaging as well as the aspirational price tag. I am a luxury skincare demographic. But even being able to afford it, I still think it’s just not good financial sense to spend $100+ on an oil when my $20 baobab oil works just as well.

La Coéss REVITALISÉ Nutrient Organic Face Oil costs $108, and you are given 30 mL/1 oz of product. I find the price to be quite high when compared to some other well-known brands like Herbivore and Sunday Riley. The orange oil comes in a heavy glass bottle with a wooden and glass dropper. It feels very luxurious and substantial, and I think it’s the best packaging of any facial oil I’ve used.
Full Ingredients List:
Organic Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Organic Rosa canina (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Organic Camellia oleifera (Camellia) Seed Oil, Organic Argania spinosa (Argan) Oil, Organic Salvia hispanica (Chia) Seed Oil, Organic Opuntia ficus indica (Prickly Pear) Oil, Organic Persea gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Organic Hippophae rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn) Berry CO2, Organic Oenothera biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Non-GMO Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Organic Daucus carota (Carrot) CO2, Organic Punica granatum (Pomegranate) Oil, Organic Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Organic Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil, Organic Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Essential Oil, Organic Jasminum sambac (Jasmine) Extract
As far as the ingredients go, I really like how it’s a blend of many skin-loving oils. I am not so happy about the essential oils in it. The essential oils unfortunately cause the product to smell odd and might irritate sensitive skintypes. I don’t really mind fragranced skincare, but those of you who are sensitive to smell and have highly irritable skin should stay away. It’s hard for me to describe the scent exactly, but it smells heavily of rosemary.
I find that this product works very well on my oily combination skin. I have been using it at night during the summer and think it would even be good during the winter. I find the texture to be extremely forgiving and not too goopy. You don’t need much…maybe two drops. Three or four drops could be used during winter routines or for dryer skintypes. I really wish that the scent would dissipate much quicker, but it is bearable. It sinks into the skin beautifully and leaves a nice sheen. I seal it all up with a moisturizer to let those ingredients do their magic.
All in all, La Coéss has created a product that gives me a very luxurious experience. I find that it has really improved my skin’s texture and has made it very soft after a month of use. Sensitive skintypes should be careful with heavily scented oils such as this one. I am very impressed with the formula, but find that the price point might be better at $80.

I so wish this didn’t work so I’d stop buying it but it just absolutely is the very best face oil I’ve ever used. I am in my late 50s. Can’t deny the fine lines around my eyes, and a bit of dark circles I never had when I was younger. The difference it made with my lines is amazing. I’ve tried a lot of other green beauty face oils, tata happer, body shop, vintner’s daughter, and never see the same results. It is and does everything they have claimed and more! The circles are improved for sure. Are they completely gone? Well pretty much but age is age and circles aren’t always going to go away but the look of them can definitely be improved with regular use of this face oil. I hate that it’s expensive but it’s so concentrated one bottle has lasted me well over 3 months with day and night using. To me the outcome is well worth the price. It meets my expectations and oh the package. I won’t use anything else.

I will admit that I had low expectation about this treatment oil before using it. I think this is because of my past negative experiences with facial oils. Even after I bought it because of its lovely packaging, I didn’t expect it would have any effect on my skin. I was only hoping it doesn’t make my skin worse than it actually was. Luckily, the exact opposite happened. My admiration for this facial oil started even before applying it. The moment I had the oil on my hand, it felt so luxury, and its texture felt so different than the ones I had used in the past. This one’s texture was too silky and light, which was a good sign to apply it. I put on a layer of around 5 drops for the first time, gently massaged it and it was ALL completely absorbed in no time. La Coess Face treatment oil provides the best hydration for your skin that lasts for a long time. And thanks to the small amount needed for each application, you can rest assured the product will last for long. A smart investment, I would say. That’s not all there is. Besides the texture and effect, the scent was absolutely gorgeous. It was so light and soothing, everything you would ask for in a facial oil! This product is worth every penny, no doubts about that. This face oil is all about hydration, quick absorbance, glow, radiance and the stunning herbal scent. Just go for it and see the results yourself!

The last few weeks were pure suffering because of my skin. It’s like every skin problem that ever existed found its way to me. You name it, dryness, irritation, pimples, breakouts, anything that would cross your mind.
It really ruined my mood and caused my self-confidence to decline, especially when nothing seemed to be working. It was all so frustrating !
One day, as I was talking about it with a friend of mine, she mentioned the La Coess Face Oil and how it helped her restore her skin glow. So decided to give this a go. I had spent hundreds of dollars on products that didn’t work, or even in some cases made my skin worse. I had high hope for this oil.
I’ve used oils before by other leading Brands such as La Mer and SK-II, and now I’m happy to say that this one far exceeds those in both quality and results for me.
The oil is silky smooth and is readily absorbed into the skin. I started seeing the beautiful glow it brings to my skin just after few uses, and so were my friend ! The dehydration disappeared and my skin got more even tone and so soft in touch. That’s all I ever needed from a facial oil.
I applied it every night, my skin feels hydrated the next morning and I don’t wake up with parched skin anymore. I certainly recommend this for those with similar skin condition to mine. You won’t regret it !

I ordered this face oil for my wedding day. Of course, this wasn’t an easy decision. I had SO many fears and concerns: What if it irritates my skin? What if it caused pimples or breakouts? It would be a nightmare! Because, you know, it’s my wedding day, no one wants to have bad skin on that day!
Fortunately, all these worries were brushed away from the first application. I was very impressed by its lovely texture and smell. It revitalized my skin without leaving it greasy or heavy. Perfectly use under makeup
Used regularly, can feel it making my skin youthful and firmer. It really saved me on what could be my worst-skin days, especially when I wasn’t getting enough sleep. If you are a bride-to-be, you can definitely trust La coess face Oil for some magical effect!
