These are the pretty much the same as the Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kits. There are 3 steps, so it takes 40 minutes vs around 10 – 15 for Biore single step nose strips. The scent is a pleasant fresh clean floral, relaxing the senses while the treatment is working. They seem pull out the same amount of gunk as Biore Charcoal strips. But not as much as the regular Biore strips or Holika Holika do for me. And the strips don’t seem to be as flexible and fit the nose as well as the Biore or Holika Holika. But in one way the are slightly more effective than Biore as because of the last step, a witch hazel mask. This means the nose *feels* more smooth to touch, like wax for a few days after pulling out the clogged pores, which the Biore does not even though its effective at clearing pores. I always hope the witch hazel mask means my pores will refill more slowly?
I use pore strips once every 1-2 weeks in summer to keep my combo oily nose pores clear and looking clean. I also believe that taking care of this stops the pores stretching any larger. Using these type of pore strips stops me getting any deep or enflamed blackheads. I have repurchased The Face Shop 3-step strips a few times when on sale. However, in New Zealand they are twice as expensive per treatment than Biore strips. Around the same price as Holika Holika Pig Nose. This makes me lean to Biore most of all, then Holika Holika, then The Face Shop last.
