The serum labeled “Idealia” radiance is different from the serum labeled “Idealia Life Serum LR2412+LHA” but this is review is for the latter, in the light pink iridescent bottle. (Which has been discontinued.)
The bottle itself is super cute and probably is part of why I purchased this several years ago, but I also remember that I did actually try it in the store, liked the immediate effect, and bought it for that reason. I would say that it does improve the overall appearance of (young-ish) skin. I bought it in my mid-twenties (and yes, I still have it, it’s all chemicals and preservatives anyway so is probably fine), and sort of forgot about it because I didn’t think it had any longer term qualities.
Now I’m looking for new serums and figured I would start with what is in my cabinet.
I would say it still has a somewhat positive effect on my overall skin tone – the mica probably reflect and soften the fine lines and redness. Not sure if there will be any positive effects long-term – and even if there were, one would have to switch to the other serum.

This is a nice lighter weight serum that improves skin’s absorption of moisturizer and helps to correct dullness. After regular use, I did see an improvement in my skin in terms of consistency, dullness and moisturization. It did not irritate my skin and was an enjoyable extra layer in my skincare routine. I believe it may not be renamed as “radiance serum” in some markets. I do recommend this serum to any skin.

I wanted to like this product, but that reason mostly stems from the fact that I got this product a such a steal (70% off).
I read the reviews – liked the idea of finally layering a serum under a moisturizer, thinning out a pigmented foundation, y’know, the hype and practicality of it. But I had to return it because it gave me acne.

I LOVE this stuff! It evens out my tone. I have some acne and texture and this stuff helps all of it while feeling great on my skin and keeping me moisturized. I have repurchased this, and it seems to be on sale every few weeks (for a much better price). It is especially great to use with my dermaroller. I always get compliments when using this. I stopped for a while because it wasn’t on sale and I didn’t want to spend nearly $60 on it, but I noticed my skin slowly get less smooth and duller. Must have for me, a HG product. I know not everyone loves this stuff, but it is a GREAT match for my skin.

Just… no. I tried a 3 ml sample of this which lasted me about 7 days. The serum has a lotion-like consistency, is baby-pink in color and has a grandma floral scent to it. The solution has shimmer in it, which honestly feels very out of place in a serum. When it comes to ingredients this contains nothing that will do anything remarkable with your skin. The only positive thing I can say about this is that it didn’t break me out!

Vichy’s Idealia line is mainly for those who are in their late 20’s and 30’s who are experiencing first signs of aging. This is a lightweight serum. One pump is more than enough for my whole face. It has a light gel texture. My skin looked more radiant immediately after using it. My skin looks less uneven after using this serum for a few weeks. It’s a good product overall.

I used to be a big Vichy fan but at some point in resent years something has changed as the product don’t do anything for my skin anymore and I have tried a lot of the products of the newish and “improved” Thermal and Idealia series. Still miss the old face cream that used to have hyalyronic acid… Anyway, this too did nothing for me and being a “serum” I has some expectations for it and yet I noticed absolutely nothing. Same with the Thermal serum. The search for a new favorite continues.

I was looking for a serum that would address my concerns of facial redness and uneven tone and – I have to admit – I was primarily drawn in due to the pretty pink packaging and the super cool iridescent pink appearance of the serum.
Doing some research, apparently this doesn’t contain any ingredients that are proven to improve skin quality, although I do feel like it’s done at least something. On the anti-aging front, probably not (my tiny fine lines haven’t budged a bit), but I swear my face does look way less red and less textured after using this. Who knows, maybe it’s just a trick of the light from the mica that’s in this product.
Nevertheless, I’m not completely dissastisfied with my purchase, although I wouldn’t buy it again.

yup, another winner from the idealia line. I use the daycream and the skin sleep nightcream for the same line and my skin has never been in a more excellent condition then… well, ever!
This serum is lightweight but hydrating. It has a rosy mother-of-pearl color which actually makes your complexion even out and look healthy. It plumps up fine lines ever so slighty, but I do see a little difference. I love the pump, but unfortunately the bottle isn’t transparant so you never know when you’re going to run out…
I will keep purchasing, a lovely serum that does what is promises.

Since falling head over heels in love with Vichy’s Idealia Skin Sleep, I knew I had to try this one for a counterpart to use in the morning.
I have sensitive, drier skin that tends to clog easily, but isn’t prone to getting huge blemishes. I needed something that would leave my skin soft and moisturized all day without giving me any type of contact irritation and this has fit the bill for the past week or so. It isn’t blowing my mind the same way that Skin Sleep did, but I can still decipher quite a noticeable improvement in my skin texture and pore size. I’m not sure how, but it has also given quite a bit of richer color to my complexion.
If you’re oily, you might wanna watch out. It’s laced with millions of tiny golden and pink pearls that do reflect in the right lighting and give the impression of dewier skin. It’s subtle, but there are enough for the product to glow and shine when you first pump it out.
I do wanna note that the acids in this will sting broken skin, so it isn’t as gentle as some others may be, but I’m an absolute nut for chemical exfoliation. It’s the only thing that gets rid of little bumps on my cheeks and it’s still gentle in this.
As long as you avoid using it on broken skin, this can really do the trick for giving your face a refreshing boost of softness before either going about your day or applying a night cream. I just wouldn’t deem it really necessary for the price.
