Still going strong, after all these years.
Clarins was the first more expensive brand I’ve tried when I was out of school.
Have tried a lot of their products over the years, and keep coming back to this brand after trying out various other drugstore and department store brands.
The products have undergone various formula updates over the years, but they work fine for me.
This latest version of the Bi-phase serum works similar to the previous formulas.
I started years ago with the version that came in a clear bottle with a white cap.
There are 2 layers and have to be mixed before use.
It rids my face of flaky skin very quickly, that I get once in a blue moon.
It is lovely to use during a flight and keeps my skin hydrated.
The only issue I have with this and all Clarins products is the smell.
This one smells lovely. It is just that I’ll prefer to use products with a neutral smell or which are fragrance free.

This has really helped to hydrate my dehydrated, combination skin without any oily-ness. Usually my t-zone gets shiny by midday, but after using this I have noticed my skin is much more balanced and healthy. The scent is quite strong and it has taken some time to get used to, but I now don’t mind given how it has helped my skin.
EDIT: After a few weeks of using this, plus other Clarins products, my skin turned into a greasy, oily mess. I have stopped using all Clarins products and my skin has returned to normal. I will not be using up the rest of this, or the other Clarins products I bought, and will not be repurchasing them. Very disappointed!

I enjoy this product because its so light and easy, great for summer days and hot weather. Smells nice and leaves skin feeling great in the morning. Have not seen a single breakout and can use this around the eye area without problem.
The only thing (and this is a personal issue) is that I almost never remember to shack it before pumping product out!
I would get this product again.

I love this serum. This really is the only thing that makes my very dry skin feel normal. I’m on my 3rd bottle, and have a couple of back ups as I just can’t be without it. It’s a bit spendy for the size you get but I pay it because it is just so good.

Holy frail hydrating serum – I use this twice a day and my skin always looks and feels ultra baby soft. I rarely have dry skin patches when I’m using this regularly. I’m literally on my 4th of 5th bottle!

Got a couple of samples of this from the beauty boutique at SDM and tried to out but wasn’t really impressed. I’ve never been a big fan of bi-phase products that look like salad dressing that needs to be shaken vigorously to incorporate the ingredients for a brief moment in time before they separate again. But, I did give it the ol’ college try and used this daily until I ran out. I can honestly say this did nothing for me. It did not feel as soothing or hydrating as my Indie Lee Squalane Oil, which I suppose it wouldn’t as it is not a straight oil. But, when you are looking at hydrating dry skin this would not be the product I would reach for. It’s not a bad product, it just doesn’t meet my requirements. I think someone with normal skin might enjoy this. It’s a pretty light serum and doesn’t irritate the skin.

This serum is really a liquid. It is difficult to apply evenly because it is runny. It did nothing to improve the quality of my dry skin. It needs to be shaken before use. It has a nice pump-style container.
