I bought this product for sensitive red skin. I have rosacea and do have some prescription creams but I really wanted to try this as I had read some really good reviews on Paula’s Choice. After purchasing this and using it twice a day for over a week, I can finally say 100% that this really is the stuff dreams are made of. The product was a bit strange as it is a green herbal smelling light oil. I used 2-3 drops applied directly on the face in am and pm after washing. On a couple of days I did mix it with my moisturizer but I think I like the directly on skin application the best. I would say that within 5 minutes my skin was really tamed down. Also throughout the day I kept checking my skin and it looked great. The best part was in the evening after cleansing and applying the oil my husband thought I had tinted moisturizer on and that my skin looked great! Wow now that is saying something. I will continue use on this and update after 3 more weeks the 30 day mark will be a good predictor of possible break out and such. I hope all goes well because I am really loving this!

I purchased both of the new Peter Thomas Roth Green “Releaf” Relief products. So far, using the Green Releaf Therapeutic Sleep Cream has left my skin feeling hydrated, but it was not love at first sight for this product. I was a little disappointed with the texture of the sleep cream moisturizer, and I haven’t made it a point to use it since.
On the other hand, the Green Releaf Calming Face Oil has put a bit of a glow on my skin. I love the oil, it is very hydrating, absorbs quickly, hasn’t caused any breakouts, and leaves my skin feeling soothed. I appreciate that Peter Thomas Roth has included several different plant oils, in addition to the main featured plant. I like face oils, but I find that many of them can be “one note” and feature only one oil, and for my skin there isn’t really one specific oil that is better than the others, so I appreciate being able to expose my skin to as many different beneficial oils as possible.
If you are trying to decide between the two I highly recommend the oil, but I will be doing a more thorough review of both the cream and the oil soon. If you are interested, my first impressions video can be seen here: Q
