Average. Smelt lovely and felt nice on the skin but did absolutely nothing, if not make my skin slightly worse. Saw a slight glow in my skin the next morning but no diminished dark spots/fine lines/texture or pores and several under the skin bumps/spots. Used continuously for 3+ weeks with the Glow 2 Oh Dark Spot toner and sometimes alongside the Retin-Alt serum but no results. Disappointed overall.

Ole Henriksen introduced two new products which they dub Retinol alternatives. One is their day serum called Glow Cycle Retin-ALT Power Serum, which I review two days ago. This review is of their nighttime cream called Goodnight Glow Retin-ALT Sleeping Creme, which I really wanted to love. The Goodnight Glow Sleeping Creme has a lot of fragrance included and smells like lemon sherbert, which actually smells good, but skin is generally better off with less fragrance ingredients. This definitely helps brighten the skin with AHA and bakuchoi. I’d rather have this packaged almost any other way than the jar because it makes application a little messy and exposes the good ingredients to air and light. I also wish they mentioned the percentage of AHA’s in the Sleeping Creme. I have been able to include this into my routine while still using my normal exfoliant so I am guessing the percentage of AHA’s isn’t too high. In my opinion, AHA’s and BHA’s are the single biggest thing you can change in your routine that will have the biggest impact so this might be a nice option to start with. I probably wouldn’t purchase this again due to the issues I have outlined before. My video review can be seen here: M
