This product is very similar to Vichy Mineral 89 but the liquid is thinner and has additional brightening and anti-aging ingredients in it. The formula absorbs easily and doesn’t feel tacky on the skin. Packaging is very simple, white plastic bottle with peach font and top of lid, comes with a pump. Downside to the packaging is that you can’t see when the serum is close to done, so I prefer the clear glass bottle Vichy uses over this one. I’ve been using the serum consistently for the last 3 weeks and I do believe it has improved the hydration and softness of my skin. Does this really give a “glass skin” appearance? Not unless you already have smooth glass like skin to begin with. But it is hydrating and I would repurchase this again because it feels beautiful and makes me happy with how my skin feels.

Glass skin! Who can resist a marketing term like that? The Koreans were all about the glass skin look a couple of years ago. (Apparently in 2019, the thing is now honey skin.) At my age, I doubt I can achieve clear glass, lol, but I don’t mind trying to achieve smoother, less blotchy skin. I am already using a vitamin C serum in the morning, so I thought I’d give this a try at night after cleansing and before my retinoid.
The product comes in a cute white pump bottle with peach trim and print. (By the way, @peachandlily, the type on the box is practically illegible. How about printing the info in a darker shade of peach, for us old geezers?!) The bottle is opaque to prevent sun degradation. What I do is, after cleansing at night, pump two squirts out and spread it over my whole face and neck. I follow this with a retinoid, then a moisturizer of some sort. The serum has no fragrance that I can discern. My facial skin feels smooth, a little plump, and hydrated even before I put on the moisturizer. Maybe even slightly tight–maybe that is part of the glass skin appeal.
As part of an overall exfoliating regimen, this serum is holding up its share of the work. I do not believe that the serum on its own is the reason for the best skin I’ve had in years, but my skin did start behaving as soon as I added this to my routine. I admit to being a picker, but after putting the Glass Skin Refining Serum in the lineup, I have almost nothing to pick, which is a real accomplishment!

Ulta’s description of this product states: Silky, weightless, and instantly-absorbing, Peach & Lily’s Glass Skin Refining Serum helps hydrate, calm, brighten and firm, delivering more dramatic results with continued use.
I agree it is all that and a bag of chips! My skin has been feeling silky smooth and the fine lines and discoloration due to sun spots has been minimized since beginning use of this. The packaging is great, easy to bring along when traveling and serum is kept away from light and air. I use one pump and it covers my whole face. Regular price at Ulta is $39.00, and I recently bought a second bottle during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty where it was 50% off. Can’t wait for another sale to restock on this product, as I don’t want to be without it.

Omg I really love this! It has a gel like consistency that is absorbed quickly. 1 pump covers my whole face. It doesn’t make me greasy. My skin texture is smoother. Definite keeper!

This product was fine, I think it claims way too much for the benefit it can actually add. I saw a very slight improvement in the texture of my skin… my pores seemed smoother but no smaller than before… the amount of serum you need is like 1.5 pumps, so the 2 pumps of serum that come out every time is irritatingly wasteful.

I’ve been trying out more k-beauty products lately and after seeing that Korean beauty brand Peach & Lily was available at Ulta I decided to pick up a few of their products. The first from Peach and Lily I tried was their Glass Skin Refining Serum. This is a very light, yet hydrating, gel-serum that smooths over skin easily and absorbs quickly. I really like the light texture of this, and the pump bottle packaging makes using it easy, especially if you travel. I’m so happy to see a serum that isn’t packaged in a dropper bottle for once!! The serum contains many beneficial ingredients, such as niacinamide, sodium hylauronate, a peptide, and two different forms of the cica plant centella asiatica extract. Even better for my dry, sensitive skin is that this doesn’t contain any fragrance, although it has a very very slight peach scent which dissipates immediately. This never caused my skin to breakout either, which is a definite plus. My video review can be seen here: o
