Ive been thinking about Estée Lauder products lately & I remembered when this serum fruition came on to the market in the 90 s when the hot ticket was alpha hydrox acids to help exfoliate the skin! & I received a sample of their fruition to try from a Estée Lauder bonus gift!& I used it once & it gave me a clogged pore Bc probably due to the silicones inside of it ! & so I gave it to my aunt to use Bc she has dry skin & it wasn’t appropriate for my oily skin type! In general I find that Estée Lauder products are way overpriced for what they are worth & are too heavily fragranced for my sensitive skin! I must use their completely fragrance free Clinique brand of skincare products! Although in the very distant past I did fall in love with a certain oil free hydrogel moisturizer Estée Lauder made ! It was a cool blue gel in this glass bottle which was nice & neat & look like a laser gun ! LOL & it was fragrance free & a wonderful gel moisturizer for my oily skin & I like it so much but unfortunately it got discontinued!

I used this product throughout the 90s. I was in college when it came out and I kept using it until I was about 30. I stopped using it when my derm put me on retin A for adult acne but I still thank this product for stopping any wrinkles I may have had before they started. I am *cough*over40*cough* and have fewer lines than some of my friends in my 30s. I have been known to look in the mirror and say “thank you Estee Lauder”

I used this in my 20’s and it transformed my skin! I had just finished college and was experiencing breakouts. I started using a sample of this that my mom had received in a GWP and it cleared my skin up 100%! Shortly after I started using this, I started having TERRIBLE issues with wearing my contacts, and watery/irritated eyes. I never made the connection that it could be this product causing it all. After the sample ran out, it took me about 1 month until I broke down and purchased a full-size bottle of this…….. not 4 days later, did I start having the same eye issues again. Since then, I have found that every product designed for the face that EL has to offer irritates my eyes.

This did nothing for me. At least I’ll allow that it caused no irritation.
I may as well have rubbed water on my face.

I finally figured out the cause of my worsening adult acne! I bought this product thinking it would help with blackheads and occasional breakouts and found that the problem continued to worsen. When the Fruition was almost gone I decided that I should give Diminish a try, but the sales associate convinced me to instead try either Idealist or Perfectionist. She told me that Fruition and Diminish are older products and will probably be discontinued at some point. So – I purchased Perfectionist and decided to give it a try. Although I had a litttle bit of Fruition left, I decided to see what would happen without it. My skin immediately cleared up! It’s been almost a week now and every day my skin is looking and feeling better! I cannot believe I paid what I did for a product that made my skin look worse than ever! The only positive is that I think I have finally found a skin routine that works for me. I’m continuing to use Soft Clean and Advanced Night Repair as I did before, but added Perfectionist in the a.m. and I’m thrilled with the results! Also – as before – I use So Polished once a week. My skin has never looked better!

I used to use this when I was in my early 20s and it made my skin smooth & clear and glowing. At this age (36) I’m not willing to shell out big bucks on products since there are cheaper ones out there that work just as well (alpha hydrox, neutrogena), but I do remember really liking this light, well absorbing & lightly scented lotion.

I used Fruition for years without any problems, and it definately helps to smooth the skin out. But really, only as a light exfoliator, which can be done using other less expensive products out there. Fruition used to work for me I’d say btwn ages 28-30 to give me a noticable glow and eased makeup application but at 35 no way. For those that have bought and reviews are less than stellar, I suggest using it on your neck/cleavage area as other harsher stuff seems to irritate that area. Or give it away, haha

This product is a very gentle hydroxy product. I thought perhaps it was a little too gentle because I just didn’t see any improvement in my skin. On the up side, it didn’t break me out and I used up the entire bottle and it does have a light feel and a good smell.

Fruition is the ONLY fruit acid lotion that has ever made a difference in the appearance of my skin. Too bad its so expensive ( I just ask for samples every time I happen to be at the dept store, and pass by the estee lauder counter- what`s a girl to do?)
