It’s just horrible. Made my skin explode with tons of pimples 🙁 . I used to have some acne scars, and I hoped that they would fade using this cream. I only used it for a couple of days, and now my WHOLE face is covered with pimples. Will never ever try this **** again.

I had a few acne scars on my face and was desperate.. After nothing worked, I ended up buying this product.. Initially my scars started fading, and my complexion got clear, but within a weeks time my skin literally exploded with LOADS of acne.. Now I have more scars to deal with.. And the acne just wont subside.. FML.. Will NEVER try this product again!

I switch between this and Vicco as the lotion I put on my face after showering. I live in a dry climate but have oily skin so this strikes a nice balance. I tend to put this on moreso before bed. I haven’t really been too focused on lightening properties, but it does have a neat light astringent-ness to it once you put it on. I will purchase this again when my tube runs out.

It’s fairly cheap – I’m in the US and ended up buying it off an amazon vendor.
I had a few scars under my chin that I wanted to lighten so I tried this the first time several months ago… it went on pretty lightly and smelled musky and I ended up getting a headache, but didn’t think it was the cream.
Last night, I found it while organizing my lotions and though I’d put it on again to test my headache hypothesis. Within 10 minutes I had a pounding headache, so I washed my face twice to get it off. Still a little red today.
May want to skip this if you’re sensitive to strong smells.

Oh man. The commercials for this ( at least in pak and KSA) are equal parts nauseating, disturbing, and hilarious. Anyway i used the product cuz i had acne scars on my forehead and my mom got it to fade em. 1. I dunno if it’s just my skin, but this caused serious breakouts 2. I used spot laser treatment which got rid of my acne scars better than this ever could.

Fair & Lovely is a very classic and famous brand of skin treatments here and I have to say the original Fair & Lovely cream is still very good. I have tried fancier fairness creams from brands like Revlon and L’Oreal and Lakme all the way up to expensive HE creams and serums from Shiseido and Estee Lauder and I still occasionally go back to Fair & Lovely. It has niacinamide in it which is very well known to help with skin fairness and you will see results if you use the cream religiously day and night along with a good sunscreen. It is probably the best fairness cream one can buy if you are on a budget.

Why I gave it three lippies.
I usually use this on dark spots, to even out my skin tone. For that purpose, I think it’s pretty effective. It’ll take a while and you should apply it at least twice a day for it to work. So be patient!
Why it lost two lippies.
I did use this all over my face for a week once when my regular moisturiser ran out. Never again! It caused so many break outs even though my skin had been behaving for a while and it looked really ‘cakey’ on my face. It also caused some dry patches. I’d imagine it would flare up acne if that’s something you suffer from. Also the smell is quite strong…like a heavy musky scent. Some might find it okay but I wasn’t a huge fan of it.
The price is reasonable, only a few pounds. I’d reccommend it if you just wanted to use it on a few dark patches but as an all-round cream, I’d look elsewhere.

i have used this cream for a while in case of brightening my skin it made it very dull though it was quiet soft but I was looking for the cream to softened me and also brightened me but it hasn’t worked for me as I was expecting so will not buy it again.

Have used this product for only 3 days, so it’s still too early to comment on its lightening properties. But it is absolutely fabulous as a primer! It has evened out my face and no oilies the whole day long. I can’t help looking at my face every time I pass the mirror. Turning out to be an HG product for me. Highly recommended!
