   If your super sensitive like myself this will break you out. I’ve tried it off and on for 4 months and every morning I’ll wake up with at least 1 cyst if I’ve used this the night before.

   Another solid product from Glycolix elite. It was moisturizing and provided exfoliation but it was not quite as strong as I desired. It has a nice texture and a little goes a long way. I found it a bit expensive but it was well formulated. I probable will not repurchase.

   This cream is amazing!!! It refines my skin without the irritation of retin a. It does sting but beauty hurts, you know. Consistent use of this makes my complexion smoother and brighter. I know older skin doesn’t turn over cells like younger skin but this product will reverse that process. It can be a wee bit harsh but just rest your skin a day or two. I used alpha hydrox before this but it beats it hands down other than price. Do your 40+ skin a favor and get this cream.

   I generally put my skincare products into two categories — those that are very effective in changing your skin, and those that are may be less effective, but look and feel nice when you are going out. I put this cream in the 1st category, as I wouldn’t necessarily wear it out under makeup (a bit too thick), but I think it is great for wearing at night or when you are at home because I find it incredibly effective. The high levels of acids do a great job of exfoliating my skin, to the point that after a couple of days of consecutive use, my skin will actually peel as if I had done an actual treatment peel (another reason I wouldn’t wear it out though…) For anyone concerned about tone, texture or dark spots, this is a great “worker” cream — not a luxurious cream per se, but does the job really well. I would note that my skin is very used to glycolic acid and exfoliation generally, so I could see how someone who has more sensitive skin might find this a bit much. Although I have not had “purging” issues with this cream, I could see how that is probably quite possible given the high level of exfoliation. The price is also great for the results, far less than many of the creams marketed for reducing pigmentation, etc. Finally, I would note that I am a true product junkie, so I am always trying new things, but if I feel my skin needs quick and effective turnover, I do come back to this. After a week or so of use, my skin will be back to soft and clear. At that point, I do go back to less exfoliating products, as I do think this cream would be too much exfoliation for me if used on a daily basis for an extended period of time. I highly recommend.

   This is a great product! It is smooth with a nice consistency; it has NO fragrance and nothing I’m allergic to (am allergic to most things). This is NOT greasy, and dries to a matte finish. I have freakishly oily skin, and my face doesn’t get oily after using this in the morning (on days I wear only this, with no makeup over it). There was no stinging. It leaves my face smooth and radiant!! I used Alpha Hydrox Swipes (14%), and Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel, so I was expecting some sort of stinging to take place with this cream, but it never happened. I plan to keep using this product. I use it in the morning, after washing my face. On days I’m staying home, I put no makeup on over it–just lipstick and eye makeup. Am amazed that this product (along with Dr. Dennis Gross products and Alpha Hydrox Swipes) has taken my skin to a place in which I CAN go w/o foundation–and be confident about it!!

   Due to budget issues & the economy, I’m no longer able to use my Dr. Dennis Gross HGs as often as I’d like. But adding this cream, in place of the Vit C serum in the mornings, keeps my skin’s “progress” moving forward. My family can NOT believe my skin has transformed to this point. I purchase this product off of RX Skincare (there is a 20% discount for MUAers, with the code). The product description is as follows:

   Prior to using this, I used Acne.Org AHA, which a fantastic product–but it does not dry to a matte finish, so I could only use it at night; it’s a 10% AHA. I only tried something new because I felt ready to have a higher percentage of AHA, and I’m extremely pleased with Glycolix 20% ! can now used my expensive peel pads less frequently (saving money) yet still get wonderful results! The oil reduction I get from this product enables me to used my Dr. Dennis Gross Vit C serum and Antioxidant Firming Serums less frequently, too! Those serums provide me with amazing oil control, so I used them as primers–but they are expensive. (Again, saving money–yet still getting radiant skin.) I am almost finished with my second jar of Glycolix Elite Facial Cream 20%, and I am getting another.

   HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! (I have allergy-laden, extremely sensitive skin. This product ROCKED for me!! YEA!)
