Been using this for around a year now I love it!
I apply it before my moisturizer (MooGoo’s Soothing MSM cream) around the dryer areas of my face before bed and I’ve noticed a slight reduction in the high-school-acne scarring on my cheeks and forehead.
I use it of a night because it does have a bit of a strange smell and I don’t want to smell like that at work or in public. I can’t describe the smell, its not overpowering (to me) but it’d definitely a noticeable odour. Putting the MSM cream over it seems to reduce the smell a bit (plus, the MSM cream smells gorgeous!) but not enough that I’m comfortable leaving the house.
Overall a good hydrating oil that helps reduce scarring. Very happy with the results especially for the price. One bottle lasts me a little over 6 months, I’m on my second bottle now. One half pump is more than enough for my face and neck.

I wanted to love this oil, as I have very dry, sensitive skin, I love MooGoo, and I love facial oils. Plus, I also found it more moisturising than their rose hip and tamanu oils. So it pains me to leave a negative review, but unfortunately it is extremely non-user-friendly due to the strong scent of the natural ingredients. I could be polite and call it a marine or seaweed smell, but really, it smells distinctly like fish, and after a night of wearing it, I have to wash my face before mingling with the general public. I strongly support no added fragrance to any product, and am normally extremely tolerant of the natural scent of ingredients compared to perfumes, but this stuff in its natural form, absolutely reeks. I tried it three times in case I became accustomed to it, but it’s truly hideous. My son even asked me why I smelled so bad! There is no mention of this on their website description, whereas the tamanu oil description does mention that it has a nutty smell (which is perfectly fine btw) – so as a public service, I’m leaving a mention here. I would not repurchase or indeed finish the existing bottle.
