I was really impressed with this product at first. Had a little sample sachet from Sephora and went out to buy the full size right after it was done. I have somewhat mild to average all over face acne, with the occasional hormonal cystic acne, plenty of acne scars and very oily skin. It manages my acne well, and made my skin super soft. It also helps to even out my skin tone nicely, and I’ve even seen a little improvement on my acne scars! Probably thanks to the retinol.
I’d also never used retinol before, and found the amount used here was just right. Enough to see visible results, but also doesn’t irritate my skin.
Great packaging, and it was nicely absorbed, overall it’s very comfortable to use.
However, for its price, I’m expecting a little more results than this. Especially since a couple months after I started using this, I tested out the CosRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid and found that the results were very similar. The CosRX Liquid was also around a third of the price of the Overnight Lotion. I find they both make my skin softer, brighter and more even, and it tackles small to medium acne well, but don’t really do much for larger cystic acne.
It’s for this reason that I won’t repurchase this. However, I would happily use this product until it’s finished.

A high end moisturiser that contains salicylic acid to clear blocked pores,a weak form of Retinol, ie Retinyl Propionate to target anti-aging concerns (pores, age spots, fine wrinkles), and a few high end skin conditioners (Sodium PCA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Peptides and more). After using for four nights I have found each day my pores more clear, my skin looks brighter and feels softer and more moisturised. Does not irritate my very sensitive skin. The scent I’ve grown to like, a lemony pine herbal, halfway between fresh and musty. Not sure if I would repurchase at this point due to the high end price point. But I have seen a difference in my skin and sure would like to.
