   Loving this! I applied this on an evening after cleansing and drying my face, for about 3-4 minutes with the cotton pad that comes with it, before rinsing off with tepid water. The results were instantly smoother, more even and refined skin texture. Unlike glycolic acid peels, this was moisturizing (with it being Lactic acid based) and more importantly not too harsh! It’s just the right combination of exfoliation, without the redness or peeling you usually get with stronger products.

   I did try to leave on overnight by following with a sleep mask but found it a bit too strong for my skin and ended up rinsing off after a couple of hours. Will stick to just using and rinsing off in 3-5 minutes, in future.

   Not the strongest of AHA peels, but for those who are intolerant to Glycolic Acid, or want to try out an entry level peel, definitely give this a try. Wiill re-purchase.

   Uggghhhh so GOOD. I was in a sephora with pretty bad skin, super annoyed with how badly I’d been behaving (it was in the middle of a girls’ weekend). The sweetest girls ever like, “oooo, the Dr. Jart Milk Peel is THA BEST. It’s like fifty dollars though.” So I looked it up here, saw the consistent 5 stars: I was sold. It worked amazingly. I have oily/combo skin that gets all red with tiny zits when it’s mad, for reference. They told me to leave it on five minutes instead of one, which works great. But since my skin is like the opposite of sensitive, I definitely think I’ll try leaving it on longer (or maybe even overnight, like the reviewer below), It absolutely helps my products absorb better, so I’d recommend doing your best treatments after this to really get them working. Love!

   This is a great exfoliater. The nice quality of this is that this exfoliates gently and does not leave your skin feeling irritated or dry and flaky. It is also a quick process. My biggest recommendation is to follow up with a thick moisturizer or oil afterwards. My more detailed review video is below.

   A fantastic alpha hydroxy based exfoliant for those with dry (to combination) and sensitive skin (me!). The packaging is beautiful. I always feel better when acidic products are packaged in glass.

   The pH of this exfoliant is around 5 (I tested it) so it is very gentle. If you’re looking for something strong, this might not be the product for you. It mostly relies on lactic acid (therefore “Milk Peel”) and fruit water. But if you want to avoid all other alpha and beta acids, this is NOT a safe product for you. It does contain a small amount of salicylic, malic, tartaric, and citric acid. If you’re pregnant or have some sort of ingredient intolerance, this is NOT a pure lactic acid product. However, if you can’t tolerate glycolic well on your face, this is still a great alternative.

   The glass bottle contains a bi-phasic peel (ie: it separates because of water and oil based ingredients and needs to be shaken up prior to use) that combines the acids with moisturizing/calming components. One saturates one of the provided cotton pads (or use your own) with the liquid. The pads come with a scrubby side for buffing and a smoother side for more sensitive skin. It’s recommended that one rinses the product off after the exfoliants works on the skin for a few minutes, but I found it not strictly necessary (I’ve left it on my neck and arms without it being an issue).

   Another peel similar to this, but quite a bit stronger, is the Algenist Genius Bi-Phasic Peel (glycolic acid based, and at a decently high concentration). So if you like the concept of this product (moisturizing AND exfoliating with an oil component), but doesn’t think it provides quite enough for you, there are other options. The only down side is that the Algenist peel cost nearly twice as much (higher concentration of acid, better quality oils, brand).

   Wow, can’t believe that no one has reviewed this product yet, this stuff is AMAZING! Read about it on-line and had to go buy it from Sephora to try it out for myself.

   Product is simple to use, comes packaged with a glass bottle filled with a milky substance and a box of thick square gauze/cotton pads for application. The pads are rougher on one side and soft and smooth on the other, oiler skins will appreciate the rougher side for extra exfoliation and sensitive skinned people will like the smooth silky side.

   You take and shake the bottle a couple of times to mix and then open and pour a few drops on a pad, your choice of rough or smooth, and apply to your face, neck, décolletage, back of hands, wherever you need to brighten and even out skin tone. The directions say to leave on for a minute and then rinse, but the SA @ Sephora told me that you can use it at night and not rinse off, but rather wait a bit and then apply moisturizer. I have used it both ways and I get the smoothest skin afterwards that just glows.

   Love this and will definitely be repurchasing.
