Now here’s a product that surprised me! I took one glance at the ‘barely there’ ingredients list which looked like a handful of chemicals and dismissed it outright, however the glowing reviews online kept pulling me back to it until eventually I gave in and purchased a tube for myself.
I applied this every evening – specifically on my forehead where I had a spot of melasma. The texture put me off as it appears quite thick and looks almost ‘off’ in color, a brown/yellow, however it went on fine, quickly absorbing into my skin and not leaving any film sat on my skin. In the first week of usage I could see a reduction in the color of the melasma although it didn’t progress beyond that for some odd reason, despite reaching the end of the tube and yes I was applying sun protection religiously every day.
For me, just to see any difference was a big deal, especially from a product I had written-off so for that I have to give it 4 lippies. It works, but the results can taper off as you keep using. Since found more effective products to deal with pigmentation issues but if you have light or more superficial pigment then it might be worth giving this a try.

My skin is very light and I always get freckles when I am in the areas with high UV index, eventhough I use SPF50+. Almost four weeks ago I’ve returned from the seaside with freckles visible on my forhead and moustache. Because of the freckles and two small melasma patches I have also been using retinol creams, but I stopped for the time I was at the seaside to avoid additional sunburns. Maybe that is also the reason my freckles darkened and melasmas became more visible, freckles from orange to light brown colour and melasma like “I-forgot-to-wash-my-face” type of brown. So I’ve been using D pigment light since then every evening – applying very thin layer on affected areas. I wait for a couple of minutes before applying other products. (Which now again include retinol) And already I can say that it works! My freckles went from brown to light orange, and orange ones are almost invisible. Especially noticeable in the moustache area 🙂 Melasmas are still there but faded a bit already. Maybe it is just this cream, maybe it is combination of retinol at night and high SPF creams in the morning, but I will definitely repurchase it when I will see freckles darkening again. I think it works really well on newly-made freckles and a bit slower for older melanin spots. One tube contains 30ml of the non perfumed light cream, which sinks well to my face. I use it only on the spots so it will last long. Almost a month of use and I didn’t use 20% of it. I’m glad I’ve found the product that has fast results, because in this really hot hot weather (38°C= approx 100°F) I can’t cover them with make up. My face would melt in seconds! 🙂

I have been using Avene D – pigment light since Dec last year. Did not help with my uneven skin tone at all. Also been using the Avene sunblock religiously during the day, purchased the Avene cleanser as well.

I had a “moustache” of sun spots. Desperate after tried 2 other brands – i religiously applied every night for months – a tube last like forever ( 7 months or more to me) ! Didn’t even notice the difference cause it was subtle bit by bit and today am proud to say sunspots moustache is GONE ! Other good point : smell is fine , packaging good small and handy. It has been a real savior and I definitely recommend . Do be aware it doesn’t disseapear instantly but with time and everyday use – it is better then any other I tried ( for at least 3 months) .

I started using this over a month ago. I bought the d pigment Riche.
I use only On over my melasma and freckles. Only notice a slight change in colour on melasma, but freckles have lightened. Hasn’t dramatically made much difference with melasma but I guess a little lighter is better than before.
Packaging is easy to use and the cream gave my no adverse reactions.
Got it on sale, price usually considered expensive.

So I recently purchased this product in rich, trying to find something will get rid of my acne scars and generally even out my skin tone on my face. I was so excited to start using it because I heard really good reviews on it. I used it at night for a week and although it did work very fast because within a week some of my dark spots began to fade, it also gave me a rash. I tried to think of other things my rash could be coming from but I wasn’t doing anything different besides using the avene. I let off using it for 2 weeks and my rash cleared up. To make sure it was the avene I used it again yesterday and sure enough my rash is back… I have combination skin with my t-zone being more oily than the rest of my face so maybe since I got the “rich” one it’s making my skin react this way.. Idk what it is. It works really well I just wish I didn’t breakout with this rash from it :(.
So overall I would recommend but then again everyone’s skin is different so you never know how it will react to the product.

I am using the Rich product for dark spots and am very impressed. My age spots (hands and face) and facial melasma are slowly disappearing after about 3 weeks of use. The texture of my skin is much better and it reacts very well to my sensitive skin. This cleverly comes in a tube with a very tiny spout so you can definitely control the amount for spot treatment or bigger area. I am using this at night beneath my moisturizer and admit to using it during the day sometimes with sunscreen/foundation and a hat. The new recipe for EA Ceramide capsules was just not cutting it anymore and this is an excellent replacement. Already bought a back up tube with a GWP offer.
