I dislike how expensive this item is – $149 CAD for 30ml. Other than this is the only product that helps my dehydrated, flakey skin. My nose and the sides of my mouth obtain completely dry as well as flakey (despite peeling) throughout severe, Canadian winters months. I have actually tried First Aid Appeal ultra repair cream, biossance squalane and also vitamin c oil, drunk elephant marula oil, the common’s marula oil and so far more. Nothing ever worked. Because when I got up in the morning, my nose would still be flakey. However when I use this, my skin is moistened in the morning. I’ve used 2/3 of the bottle nighttime for 3 months and will certainly repurchase.

Avoid if you have oily skin. This will turn your face right into an oily mess. I bought it despite the significant price (I acquired the tiniest variation the good news is) wishing it would certainly moisturize without making my skin exceedingly oily like a lot of creams. I assumed the Cetaphil hydrating cream made my skin oily, yet that was absolutely nothing contrasted to this stuff. I could see this functioning well if you have dry or dried skin (my skin did look wonderful and also moisturized for the hour approximately prior to the oil show started), but also for oily skin it’s terrible. I figured I would certainly publish an evaluation to act as a sign of things to come for any type of various other oily skinned people considering this as a choice to moisturizer. Don’t do it! The structure resembles water and as a result makes it challenging to apply on it’s own (it states you can include a pair drops to moisturizer, however I attempted it on it’s very own). It uses a dropper and you’re meant to put a couple of decreases into your palm, however due to the fact that it’s so slim a lot of it winds up being soaked up into the skin of your hand before you’ve applied it to your face. The cost is additionally really high – $149 for 30 ml is outrageous for simply hydration when there are serums around that are method less costly and also do way more.

This is an extremely lightweight lotion that packs a severe moisture strike! At first i really did not see a factor in it however given that it’s been sitting on my vanity i have actually been using it on a regular basis rather than lotion and also i locate it does an excellent work moisturizing without clogging my pores. I enjoy using it on times off from energetic products (ie. glycolics, and so on).
My only concern is the price. I can purchase a superb 1oz glycolic serum from Drunk Elephant that noticeably decreases pores and also redness for $90 CAD, however 1oz of this serum that not does anything yet moisturizer costs $145 CAD. Why?

Steer clear if you have oily skin. This will turn your face into a greasy mess. I bought it despite the hefty price tag (I bought the smallest version thankfully) hoping it would hydrate without making my skin excessively oily like a lot of moisturizers. I thought the Cetaphil moisturizing lotion made my skin oily, but that was nothing compared to this stuff. I could see this working well if you have dry or dehydrated skin (my skin did look nice and hydrated for the hour or so before the oil show began), but for oily skin it’s awful. I figured I would post a review to act as a cautionary tale for any other oily skinned people considering this as an alternative to moisturizer. Don’t do it! The texture is similar to water and therefore makes it tricky to apply on it’s own (it says you can add a couple drops to moisturizer, but I tried it on it’s own). It uses a dropper and you’re supposed to put a few drops into your palm, but because it’s so thin most of it winds up being absorbed into the skin of your hand before you’ve applied it to your face. The price is also really high – $149 for 30 ml is ridiculous for just hydration when there are serums out there that are way cheaper and do way more.

This is a super light weight serum that packs a serious moisture punch! At first i didn’t see a point in it but since it’s been sitting on my vanity i’ve been using it quite often instead of lotion and i find it does a great job moisturizing without clogging my pores. I enjoy using it on days off from active serums (ie. glycolics, etc.).
My only issue is the price. I can purchase an excellent 1oz glycolic serum from Drunk Elephant that visibly reduces pores and redness for $90 CAD, but 1oz of this serum that does nothing but moisturizer costs $145 CAD. Why?

I received this serum as a gift at the event in Toronto (together with Natural Foaming Face Wash that unfortunately I did not like) and so far I have been enjoying it. I use only very small amount in the evening and my skin feels smooth and nice. It is easy to apply and absorbs very fast. The website states: Formulated with a proprietary blend of exotic Cassia Angustifolia Seed Extract and Glycerin, this product is unparalleled. You will see more smooth, youthful and hydrated skin instantly.
I will update on it later on my results. But the price is really high – $72 for 10ml, so I’m glad I received it for free.

I agree with the other reviewer that it is expensive.
I also notice the other reviewer who complains about efficacy is about a decade younger than me and I am thinking maybe not the target audience for this product.
I used hyaluronic products primarily found in Korean beauty products in my 30’s but I rotated (and continue to rotate) serums and moisturizers to maintains effectiveness. Hyaluronic serums are best absorbed on moist skin so use a spray spritzer (tap or rose water) or Avene spray to wet the face before applying. If hyaluronic acid works for you than stick to it. This is not hyaluronic acid. This is an alternate to it, and four times more concentrated, if you believe the marketing material. Not sure if the claims are science based, but it works for me. It takes care of the dreaded 11’s in my forehead that hyalyronics were becoming ineffective for.
Overall it is a great product and you do use a lot less than you would with other products I have. It is a serum so on it’s own it is okay for summer. For winter it is more effective with a moisturizer than on it’s own.
I have repurchased and see myself purchasing again.
