So I’m 49 in a couple of months and am experiencing deep painful acne on my chin due to the changing hormones and if I don’t clean my face directly after working out.
I use Cocokind Turmeric stick overnight and by the morning, the pimple isn’t gone but it is less painful and slightly smaller. Fortunately, I work from home and can use it during the day also. I feel like it stops the progression and starts turning it around. It is NOT an overnight miracle cure. Unlike other products, this does not dry you out. A lot of treatments leave my skin feeling like sandpaper.
I realized how well this works because I had forgotten about it between the last breakout and this one. So, with the latest breakout I used a bunch of old stuff and it was gross. Crusty, flaky, itchy, burny. I pulled this out and used it overnight. It stopped a new one and shrunk existing ones.
Be aware that it stains. I put a dark towel on my pillow at night and wear dark clothes in the day.

I’m 47, but I still get a zit or two each month around my period (menopause, I’m ready for you!). This stuff has been amazing at warding them off or at least calming them down significantly overnight. (The instructions say to keep it on your face for 20 minutes, but I always put it on before bed — it can stain your pillowcase, though.) I love that it’s entirely natural, and it’s a steal at around $9 at Whole Foods. The only issues are that it’s not something you can put on in the morning and go about your day — it’s a very visible orange, and I need to oil cleanse to actually got the orange stain off my face. Totally worth it, though!
