This product is a tinted sunscreen. It doesn’t color correct any more than any other tinted sunscreen. In order for green to cancel out red, it needs to stay being green. This cream changes to beige as you rub it in and pop the encapsulated color particles. The reason it offers any redness/pigmentation reduction is because it’s got zinc oxide, iridescent particles and a beige tint, which is also part of its downfall – all those minerals must make this formula bad for dry skin. Clings to patches, sinks into lines and sucks all the moisture out of my skin. Oh, and after an hour or so, the cosmetic benefits virtually disappear.
As a sunscreen, it’s not even decently wearable, it’s so thick and you better blend it quick. I doubt the coverage would be adequate without applying a lot of product, more than you’d think and enough to look cakey. And as far as the filters used, there’s not enough zinc oxide to be effective against the full UVA spectrum. So it won’t replace a proper daily sun screen if you’re concerned about photodamage and anti-aging.
So I’ve shat on the product because I feel like it’s trying to be too many things and not doing well at any of them. I would up the zinc percentage and call it a tinted sunscreen if I were Dr. Jart. And take out all the essential oils which have no business in a sunscreen.
I won’t re purchase because I’ve tried numerous better tinted sunscreens with both chemical and physical filters. I use my sensual skin enhancer when I want actual coverage.
The positives are that it blurs and leaves a nice glow. And it’s much more universal and flattering than Elta MD tinted physical sunscreen. That’s all I’ve got.

I also haven’t bought a full size of this as I just got a small sample sized pot and I don’t use it that often. You can actually buy sample sizes of this from Korean websites and it’s pretty inexpensive compared to buying it from Sephora in the full size. Generally all Korean products are cheaper if you buy them through a Korean site than through Sephora/ ulta.
I use this occasionally when my cheeks get red randomly. It’s very good at covering redness as it’s a green beige color and has decent coverage (but not super high coverage) but it has a strong fragrance unfortunately so I try to avoid using it. I don’t think the spf is needed as I normally wear sunscreen anyway.
I agree with the other reviews that this would probably work best for fair skin tones. I think you could get the same effect from this by mixing a green corrector with your favorite concealer. It actually makes me look a bit pasty even though I am fair so I normally apply it underneath a tinted moisturizer. I don’t find it drying at all and I have combination skin with some dry patches, so I feel it’s probably not a great product for oily skin.

I preface this to say, I’ve never had to buy a full-size of this. I started with a couple of samples from Sephora and it goes such a long way! The tub of this is pretty big and I hated the thought of constantly dipping into it, especially since a little goes a long way, this would last YEARS! I have a lot of redness, particularly in the cheek area. I’m perpetually flushed. This helps tone that done without becoming masklike. This is thick-ish but can be blended in easily. My skin tone is an NC30/C3 in MAC for reference. While I do like this product, I do prefer Dr. Jart’s Camo Drops version as it’s thinner and feels easier to blend and more sanitary since it’s uses a dropper rather dipping fingers into the jar.

Fabulous stuff. Great for a light make up day as it is simple and easy and makes your skin look fantastic. I can see that it might not work that well on darker skinn, but if you are pasty white like me it works a treat! A real winner.
Now if only someone could make a cruelty free version lf this….

So I’m going to start this review by acknowledging that this product is not suitable for everyone, which is unfortunate because products should be made for people, and not the other way around. By that, I mean it will only suit fair skin tones, with normal-combo-dry skin that aren’t seeking too much coverage. Because this product is so specific, here is a description of my skin: I am fair with a lot of redness (due to prescription acne cream and genetics) and a bit of unevenness. I am a fan of no makeup-makeup and cannot stand any product that is obvious on my skin, even in unforgiving daylight. I also have dry patches that are accentuated by face makeup but am acne-prone. I am torn between wanting an invisible product on my skin and wanting coverage for my redness…
This is a really thick green cream that adapts to your skin tone (to a certain extent, hence why it is not suitable for all) and takes on a slightly greenish skin color, which sounds awful but truly cancels out most of my redness and doesn’t make me look sick. I do add a bit of bronzer or blush to liven up my face afterwards though. One layer is enough for a nice, light coverage. It is buildable for extra coverage, but it is quite thick so I wouldn’t go beyond a light-medium coverage. This being said, it is so beautiful on the skin. It gives a beautiful natural finish and is very blurring. Honestly, the finish is spectacular (a perfect natural finish) and the cream is undetectable on the skin, even on my dry patches. I am constantly getting compliments on my skin, which is shocking to me. The product also wears beautifully and lasts all day at work (not sure about warm weather). I’ve even worn it running 10km (cool weather) and it stayed perfectly. It hasn’t broken me out, although I only use it a few times a week. Also, it has SPF 30!
The downsides? The price tag. It’s pretty expensive but you get a lot of product and the ingredients are quite nice (minus a few essential oils). I think for the quality, it’s entirely worth it if you like the product. I would recommend getting a sample from Sephora (outside of Canada unfortunately) then ordering it on Yesstyle and using promo codes. The product also hasn’t really changed my skin as skincare, but I don’t care because I just love it so much as makeup. Packaging in a pot feels a bit unhygienic. Lastly, it does feel a bit heavy but not in an uncomfortable way because it’s hydrating. I’m not sure how this would be under foundation.
How I use it: Primer + Cream + Glossier Stretch concealer or Fit me concealer + cloud paint + Wowder for a bit of oil control and extra blurring coverage
This is such a long review. But since I have been so embarrassed about my skin redness in the past, I wish I had found this sooner. For my specific needs and my skin, it’s a miracle product. I can see how it’s a love it or hate it product, but I think it’s worth a try if you’re fair and want to get rid of some redness.

I bought this because I wanted something natural to cover and heal my acne scars.
I started using a prescribed topical acne medication when I tried this out and it burned my skin. My skin was so hot and red after rubbing this into my skin. I noticed my skin would start peeling after using this as well. I immediately returned this back to Sephora.

This is a great color correcting cream. It’s very tacky and thick. A little goes a long way and it takes a bit of blending to get the color to blend with my skin tone (I’m NC15 for reference). I’ve inserted a SplitPic of before and after photos of me wearing nothing except the Cicapair, taken in natural light with no filters or makeup. I have a bit of redness in my cheeks and nose and it covers it superbly. Only negative is that it can pill with certain foundations but I find that the cream acts as such a good base that I only need to powder or use the lightest amount of foundation in certain parts of my face. Some days I can just wear the Cicapair and apply my cream bronzer and blush lightly over the top.
Im 42 and have normal skin type.

This product has totally replaced my foundation. It gives me a very even skin tone and makes me glow. I can see how it would feel heavy if you layered foundation on top of it, so I don’t do that. There is no need!
The price is hefty, but you get a lot of product for $52 and you only have to use a small amount. Too much wi be wasted product.
I use a beauty blender to apply this and then put loose powder over the top.
Many compliments and people asking what I’m wearing or telling me that my skin is beautiful. Holy grail product for me!

This is a green cream housed in a jar. The consistency is thick but it spreads easily. The green tint helps disguise redness and minor pimples. I find it to be moisturizing and the spf is a bonus. I haven’t seen any long-term results but I do enjoy it for moisture purposes.
Pros:
Moisturizing.
Covers redness.
SPF.
Great for my sensitive skin.
Cons:
No long-term benefits other than moisture.
Jar packaging sucks.
Overall, I like it. I don’t love it it and it didn’t change my life. However, it is a solid staple in my collection when I need a moisture boost and to cover redness.

The reason I have this four lippies is because the product does what it’s supposed to, which is conceal redness and provide a more even complexion.
However after a few days of use I’ve seen some small bumps at the end of the day.
My office is usually hot and I live in the tropics so that may be part of it.
I find it moisturizing in the morning but my dry skin gets almost chalky with dryness in the afternoon.. I might need a face spray to top up my moisture levels.
I’ll keep trying and maybe layer it over moisturiser to see if that helps although I find it quite messy with the moisturiser underneath.
