I really like this Vitamin C serum.
It didn’t cause breakouts like other ones with Ascorbic acid.
Noticed a brighter complexion and fading Of my dark spots after few weeks.
Like the lotion texture too.
Would definitely repurchase!

This for me was a pass. After months of using it I feel no change to my face complexion in terms of brightening, texture or overall appearance. On application it’s a lightweight lotion with a fab orangsicle scent! Dried fairly quickly into my skin but I also found it left my skin feeling dry before applying my moisturizer. There is no tacky feel to it, which is a bonus. Although it integrate well with my daily skincare products it just left me ‘meh’ in terms of overall effectiveness. Oh and the bottle gets points for pump action dispensing which is easy to control but difficult to get the bottom reserve when the product is almost done.

This smells lovely, like orange juice. It absorbs well, dries quickly, etc. But, I haven’t noticed any changes to my skin at all. I’m almost done with my first bottle and won’t buy again.

I got a sample of this and loved it, so I bought it and still loved it. I like the texture of it and my skin looked better overall. I don’t like the packaging as I felt desperate near the end trying to pump every little bit that I could. But for a Vitamin C product,I thought it was great. I’ve tried other products where I look orange. And I don’t care for oils too much, ironically I find them drying. The downside is the price as I also find it doesn’t last that long. But if you are looking forward to an event where you want your skin to look good or you feel like you need a pick me up for your skin, this is it. I’m 47 with dry skin and this was moisturizing. Due to the price, I went cheaper and now my skin is feeling it that I’m probably going to get this as a pick me up.

Got a sample of this and took it on holiday. Was stopped in my tracks by some big deterrents. Number one: this is not a serum. It is a lotion. Number two: this broke me out in raised, unsightly zits. Would I pay top dollar for a Tang-scented lotion that gave me zits? No. No, I would not. Next. You

Sunday Riley has been on my radar for the past year – I’ve heard great things about Good Genes and Ceramic Slip, so when I had Sephora points I cashed them in for a CEO sample. I’m glad I didn’t buy the full product.
First off, I wouldn’t call it a serum. It comes out both watery and gritty out of the tube, and feels like I left orange-smelling sugar water on my face. Does it brighten my complexion? No. I’ve had better luck with retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and basic moisturizer.
I haven’t had a pimple in MONTHS and this serum managed to cause painful, deep bumps. Not quite acne or white heads. Definitely SWERVE.
This Sunday Riley CEO Serum retails for $85. Cool brand name, exorbitant prices, but poor quality for what you pay for. Don’t do it.

I was immediately thrown off my game by this serum. When I think serum, I think of something that is either watery or an oil, certainly not a lotion which this appears to be, and a strangely oily feeling lotion at that. It smells like oranges from the “sweet orange oil” in it, kind of nice but surprising to be honest. What also has me puzzled is that in the “How to Use” it says that vitamin C pairs well with retinol and that you can layer this over their Luna Sleeping Night Oil but… this product contains glycolic acid and that is something you should NOT mix with retinol. I’ve been told to alternate those products so needless to say I’m confused. Also, I got two wicked sore blemishes from this on my cheek which never happens to me. Deep cystic type of acne, really painful and ugly. Maybe this brand just isn’t for me. I haven’t had any luck with it so it’s time to stop trying.

Got a sample size in my Birchbox one month and was impressed at how my thirsty skin just drank it up. It’s creamy, like a night cream, so I can see why younger, oilier skins would not like it, but for mature skin with dryness and fine lines, it’s very soothing. Didn’t have enough uses to see if it improved the appearance or texture of my skin, but I’d be willing to invest in a full size tube to try it out.

My friend gave me a nearly full bottle of this because it made her break out. I was psyched, I love high end beauty product hand me downs and I use Vitamin C products all the time so I didn’t think it would be an issue. well, I used it for a couple of days and my skin didn’t look any brighter or glowy like some reviews say, but whatever, still using high end free beauty product so woot! But then, I got two zits on my chin, one in the exact place my friend got hers. And I’m almost 50 and sort of past zits. So yeah, I have a high end beauty product to pass on to someone else now. Someone who doesn’t mind a zit or two in the chin area, I guess.

Lets make this quick. I do not like this product. I too only got it because of the Allure Beauty Box. I was so excited to be using such a bougie product and bought it just for that.
PROS: The texture.
CONS: Pretty sure this causes breakouts for me. Not only that, I don’t feel it gives radiance or does much of anything Vitamin C is supposed to do, and I have used several Vitamin C products in the past, derivatives and direct AA. I put it on the skin and it just doesn’t give back. I was using it pretty regularly and when I stopped, my skin improved in general.
OVERALL: I ended up giving it to a family member. It seems to work ok for them, I haven’t been nitpicking their skin to see an improvement or anything though.
