This is a silicone based gel-cream that appears light at application (due to the high amount of alcohol content) but settles for a more substantial veil that leaves the skin appear more perfect, even and silky.
It contains Isodecyl Neopentanoate, an light and volatile emollient with a beautiful finish; silicone oil (dimethicone), two silicone elastomers and a silicone powder (in higher amount) that will leave an exceptionally nice and «perfect» finish. Synthetic Fluorphlogopite and Nylon-12 will also contribute to the silky, semi-matte (but not flat) finish.
Other cosmetic ingredients are the rather high amount of fragrance and the colouring agents, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate along with the minuscule amount of Diamond Powder (that is actually a part of a peptide complex).
The product does contain some excellent actives, even in higher amount. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) is between 3-5% concentration and has documented effect on repairing skin barrier function, hydration, anti-acne, lightening of pigmentation and radiance.
It contains a broad range of actives and cell communicating ingredients too.
The structure of the emulsion is also contributing to skin-barrier enhancement.
What I don’t like about it is that the emulsion is clearly created by amateurs, comes across as unprofessional from a company that charges a small fortune for it. (This is due to the use of the same emulsifier for different pH, which is clearly unnecessary since an emulsion will only have one final pH )
All-in-all, it is one of the most cosmetically elegant formulations containing high amount of niacinamide, however the price is just simply ridiculous.
