I love this treatment gel so much! I have oily and acne skin. To give you an overview, I have a bad habit of changing skincare every now and then. Recently, I have really bad breakouts after using new skincare products. I need something to calm my angry skin down and suddenly I remembered my time using some Cellnique products, especially this gel. I have good skin back then. Hence, I purchased this gel with a cleanser from this line.
After at around two weeks, my skin gets less breakout. My pores feel clean and my skin is less oily. Please note if you are new to this gel, you may experience oilier skin at beginning and perhaps new breakouts (purging I guess) will come out. You need to continue using this gel diligently, and you will notice that your skin will get less oily and you will get less breakout.
Two minus points are
1) this gel is so freaking expensive for a 30ml bottle.
2) this gel won’t do much on active acne/pimple, at least for me. It still takes some time for the active acne/pimple to subside.
However, I am really satisfied with the overall results.

I bought this product with high expectations due to all the amazing reviews telling me how great this product is for their blackheads, oiliness etc. while it did felt great against my skin, i loved the tingling sensation it gave me. This broke me out. Really bad.i started getting huge whiteheads on sides of my nose, between the brows and sides of my lips. And it didnt do anything to mattify my face. In fact it made it much more oily. Im not sure why im getting this reaction due to all the great reviews. But im definitely getting a refund. Ive been using this product for nearly 3 weeks. I highly do not recommend this .

This is one of 2 skin care products I have repurchased. It is rare that I find a skin care product that changes the way I see my skin but I can confidently say this product does that for me. I have relatively normal skin but I do get clogged pores around my chin. Their not white heads, just little clogged pores that form bumps. THIS PRODUCT DELIVERS RESULTS! My skin is smooth and my pores are unclogged after a few nights of use with this product. The overall appearance of my skin is much more clear.
This is an expensive product however I am so thrilled with the results of this product I will shell out the money for it. I wish they would make a larger bottle of this though!!!

The name of this product is typed wrongly, it shud be called Cellnique Skin Action Sebum Gel. I have been using this product since few years back. The result is soooo amazing, i first heard about it when im travelling back to Hong Kong, frm my gf… and i managed to find their websites and make my purchase. My blackheads and whiteheads obviously cleared, my skin oiliness reduced, yet my skin is still hydrated! It is a bit pricy though, still 30ml can last me for about 2 months. They have another brand from the website called b.liv by cellnique, i just wandering anyone used this line before and how is the result? There is also another product called “Off With Those Heads” (what kind of name is that…) also doing the same thing for blackheads. Anyway – i will definitely repurchase this product again!

This is my first review of a product ever on MakeupAlley and I’d have to say Cellnique’s Pro Sebum Gel warrants it! BEST pimple fighting product I have ever used! I’m 28 and I still break out here and there, no thanks to oily and acne prone skin. However, after having used this product (and right from the first try!) it’s has produced amazing results. I use this am and pm, 2 drops on areas that need a bit of help and not only has it literally banish the pimple/trouble area by the next day, it has even helped prevent future break outs. I sound like a spokesperson probably for this but I can’t help but be amazed at this product. The only thing I don’t like about it, is the price tag. It’s already my 2nd bottle and I’d consider a cheaper product to be better on my wallet, but after trying so many failed product all these years I just might stick to repurchasing again and again and hopefully they won’t ever discontinue it!

Probably one of the products that I return to after all these years. It claims to prevent blackheads, but I reckon it does a satisfactory job at preventing pimples or treating pimples as well. You apply this after toner, across the t-zone, and follow up with the usual skin routine. Comes in a gel based texture that has a lingering cooling sensation, due to the presence of menthol in it. Unlike many acne treatments, this one treats pimples without drying the skin….. Something that I particularly liked. While I cant comment if it prevents blackheads from forming ( I don’t suffer much from blackheads in the first place to begin with)…. it does a decent job in preventing breakouts on my chin area. Costly at MYR 178 per 45ml, but it delivers what it claims so the price tag is rather well deserved being paid for I reckon. Would recommend this to anyone with oily, blemish prone skin.

On my second bottle of this. The product is a clear gel that feels ‘refreshing’ (the tea tree and eucalyptus oil) when you apply it to your skin. The first month I applied it twice a day to my t zone with just one pump (if there was any residue left on my fingers I would apply it to the rest of my face. My nose and pores looked really clean in just two weeks. I was AMAZED. I couldn’t believe it! When I stopped using it the blackheads came back slowly so I know its this product that works. For maintenance (after using it twice a day for a month) I just use it once a day at night only. It IS expensive at $55 for just 30mL/1ounce but I feel its worth the price because it keeps clogs and blackheads in check and gives me a more clear/clean looking face. I ordered from their website and they have free international shipping so I’m pretty happy about that. They also ship by DHL, whose shipment tracking is very precise/timely. I also like that they send you coupons as well as samples of their other products to try…wish I could review their advanced bio renewal masque..its the only clay mask I used. Anyways, after I finish this bottle you can bet I’ll be purchasing another one (going through the first bottle was fast for me since I applied twice a day for a month but once I got into maintenance mode I’m finding it lasts longer than the first bottle).

Excellent product.
Very pricey (here in my country its $70 for 1 Oz.) however, it’s money-back guaranteed. it works like a dream. When you first put it on, it absorbs within about 2 mins, leaving a very soft finish. I use a moisturiser over it.
I’ve bought maybe 7 bottles of this altogether. It really clears up my skin, leaves it less oily throughout the day. i don’t know if it clears up my blackheads, but it really clears up the skin, and people compliment me on how my skin looks like tofu. When i stop using it for a while, I totally break out. This is my HG product.(i have no idea what HG is, but i’m hearing it all over this site and i’m guessing it means essential/favourite product!) Very costly though, for such a small amount 🙁 I finish one bottle within 2 months. I took one lippie off for the costly price.
