   Elixir Matifiant is a relatively new product launched last year as a replacement to Galenic’s Cauterets Purifying Anti-blemish Emulsion which I had been using previously. I have to say that I like the elixir much better.

   Company claims on the Cauterets line:

   About the elixir:

   I have to say that indeed after switching to this on my combo acne-prone skin has been improving day by day. I use 1 or 1.5 pump every night after cleansing/toning, under my moisturizer. It’s a pale green serum, has a very light, non-sticky texture and mild fresh scent. Absorbs in a second and skin is left velvety matte. Not particularly drying but I prefer adding some moisture. Honestly, my skin has never looked that good before, even on my period breakouts are kept at bay and there is also a nice healthy overall glow. One lippie missing because I’ve been only using it a month and will update.

   The packaging is efficient and practical. Costs around 20 euros.
