I love this oil! I like having an oil/serum in my skincare routine but I struggle to find ones that don’t break me out, irritate my skin or cause severe headaches. So when I got a sample of this and didn’t have issues, I decided to buy a bottle and my skin loves it! It does have a slight citrusy smell that quickly fades. I’ve been using it for two months almost everyday and my first bottle is pretty much finished. I noticed my face has more of a glow and my marks appear a bit lighter. I thought it was just me but my friends and family have noticed it as well especially since I decided to stop wearing make up for a few months to focus on my skin health.
I like the packaging and that it comes with a dropper so you can control the amount you use. I took away one lippy because it is pretty pricey and the bottle is deceiving in my opinion (the bottom is very thick therefore you don’t actually get the amount you think) but I’m going to purchase it again since that’s the only con and I’d also like to see if it will fade my marks significantly

It gave me cystic blemish on my jaw and chin. After 3 months of ”one more chance” I gave up, my face is still covered by dark blemishes after horrible acne. Definitely worst oil product I ever put on my face.

I got a sample of this in my Birchbox and immediately ordered a full size, so yeah, I kinda love it. I’ve never used any other Sunday Riley product before, and I’m not really attracted to the brand, so I was surprised tbh. I don’t consider it to be THAT expensive—you can buy it in a 15mL size for $40 and 35mL for $80, BUT it lasts forever. I think the 15mL will last me at least 6 months, since the tiny sample lasted me more than a month!
Ok, my Vitamin C background: my skin loves it, but it’s so hard to find an affordable formulation that doesn’t contain panthenol (breaks me out horribly) or a ton of silicones (clog city). I’ve tried so so many, so the cost is worth it if I can just settle on one I like. I’ve been really missing a C product in my routine, since it does so much for glow and fading dark marks. CEO Glow apparently utilizes a very stable, oil-soluble Vit C so I’m not worried about oxidation or it going rancid. (Lots of other reviews note this as a negative but I’m, like, are you a scientist?) Honestly, I’m pretty sure it’s the turmeric in this that takes it to the next level. It does something magical, reduces inflammation, evens things out, my pores are tiny, who knows—my skin loves it.
I also just love using this, the packaging is cute & sturdy, it smells nice (citrusy), and it’s an oil, so I always just feel like I’m an ancient Egyptian queen anointing myself with rare holy resins or something (you don’t do this?!). I apply it very liberally…the oils help with this, you can feel like you’re using a truly effective amount, when in reality it’s not THAT much so you don’t feel wasteful. I also want to hate the name…but I don’t. Lol.

You know a product is kick ass when your friends all notice and want to know what you’ve been using! I had not been using a vitamin c product regularly at all before i received this in my allure beauty box. I faithfully have been using this for four months
I have some sun spots and hyperpigmentation under eye and jawline, and upper cheek area; they have reduced in size and lightened. One spot is breaking into two smaller spots, another is fading on the left hand side and overall lighter. Some of the sun damages have been there for decades so I’m elated to see them lighten and hopefully eventually disappear.
I apply this on top of serum under essence-moisturizer. I used to apply on top of moisturizer but it was too greasy. In the summer i may skip moisturizer and apply sunscreen on top? I find this very moisturizing and i do have dry skin.
Does not sting or irritate. Ascorbic powder burns and i think its why i avoided vitamin c before because of sensitivity. Burns around my eye area. This oil does not induce any sensation at all. Soaks in without any irritation or burning. Yay!!!
The 15 ml bottle lasted me 4 months of daily use. I use 2-4 drops for face and neck twice am and pm. Can be mixed with moisturizer i suppose but it does spread easily for a dry oil .I have just purchased another bottle.

This product is incredible!! It’s a stable vitamin c that never oxidizes so To the previous reviewer that said it does I don’t know where you got your info from. This is the most stable form of vitamin c. It made my skin so glowy with feeling oily and helped with my hormonal acne as well! Will definitely repurchase

Oh my GOD, I hate this stuff! Got a full size in my Sephora bag and was super excited to try it as I am very much into vitamin C products. I first noticed that I didn’t like the packaging – exposes the serum to fresh air which oxidizes the vitamin C and makes it kinda useless. The other thing is the way this stuff doesn’t sink in and leaves my skin greasy and shiny. I usually love facial oils and thick moisturizer because I have dryish skin. However this one just feels filmy and greasy, and doesn’t seem to provide any nourishing or moisturizing effects. The worst thing about this product is that it breaks me out. BADLY. As in the worst breakouts I have ever had. I used this last night and the night before, and I woke up today with fifteen different small pimples oh my chin. I have also experienced similar breakouts literally the day after I apply this product in the past. This is a no go for me.
Update / So I gave this product one final shot, thinking that maybe my hormones were to blame for my past breakouts. All I have to say is, I have never had cystic acne until I used this product. It also gave me a cystic blemish on my forehead, a place where I have never had acne before.

I’m completely in love with this face oil!!! I’m 40 years old with extremely oily skin so my concerns are preventing wrinkles and zits. Although my skin is very oily, I live in an arid climate and use tretinoin & benzol peroxide daily, so surface dryness and flakiness can be a nuisance. I started mixing two drops of CEO Glow Oil into my moisturizer (Khiel’s Ultra Facial Cream) morning and night and in only a week I’m seeing a huge improvement in the clarity and brightness of my skin! The earthy scented oil is light enough to absorb without breaking me out yet gives enough hydration to keep my retin A from making me a flaky mess. Sunday Riley’s pricepoint is more than I would typically spend on skincare, but Since I only use 4 drops a day (& the dropper cap keeps me from overusing product) I think CEO Glow Oil is a great value and well worth the splurge. I will definitely repurchase this product!

I received this in my January 2019 Allure Beauty Box. I like the packaging and dropper- super cute and functional. I was very nervous that this oil might clog my pores but it has not caused any skin problems at all! The oil is lightweight, smells slightly citrusy, and absorbs into skin very quickly. It gives a nice healthy sheen without looking greasy. I probably wouldn’t pay $80 for another bottle, but I will definitely enjoy this one til it runs out.

I received this product in my monthly Allure subscription box. I was hesitant, as I am with all facial oils as they can sometimes clog my pores and then it takes a long time for my face to get back to normal. However, my face has been very dry and flaky lately so I thought I’d give it a go. I’m on my fifth night with it and so far, I love it! It is an oil, but it’s that kind that your skin drinks up, just leaving behind softness, not oiliness. I was also able to layer it (at night) over the Sunday Riley retinol A, which I tried for the first time last night. As I usually do, I rubbed what was leftover on my fingers to the back of my hands and now I can’t stop feeling how soft they are. My 47 year old skin looks plump and refreshed. I do not really have any wrinkles yet, but the dryness is gone. The smell is ok, if it’s supposed to be orange I don’t really get that, but it’s not offensive. This was a generous sample, and I can’t find it on their site. I’m sure it’s $$$ but if it keeps doing what it’s doing I will definitely purchase the full size.

I’ve been very excited by some of Sunday Riley’s new products. The brand has recently released their new A+ High Dose Retinoid Serum and now the new CEO Glow Vitamin C +Tumeric Face Oil. We can’t also forget and a new version of Good Genes and well as the reformulated Ceramic Skin Cleanser. So far, I’m liking what they’re selling! The CEO Glow Vitamin C + Tumeric Oil is a light oil that you can simply pat onto skin after applying a few drops of oil to the palms of your hands. It takes a couple of minutes to absorb and after that you can proceed with your routine. The Sunday Riley CEO Glow Oil plays well with other products, and in my opinion is probably the strongest (in terms of formulation) product of Sunday Riley’s “CEO” line. The only downfall is that this contains a little fragrance, which does dissipate rather quickly. I didn’t have any issues with the fragrance and didn’t find it to be overwhelming- it does have the same scent as most other Sunday Riley products and oils. The serum is lightly hydrating but not so much so that I can skip my normal moisturizer. If you are interested my video review can be seen here:
